  This vendor came out to me through ******** **** ****** to fix garbage disposal. The technician replaced the disposal and left 15 minutes later. Afterwards I kelp noticing puddles of water in the basement and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. At one point while using the dishwasher I could hear rushing water coming from the basement. When I went down I saw water rushing through my kitchen floor into the basement. When I looked under the kitchen sink the hoses from the disposal and dishwasher were just hanging there - not attached to any drain pipe. Now i have to pay for another service to come and complete/fix the problem. Note that they did not come as per the appointment (wrong day and time). When I called about this, I was told that they received so many calls that it was hard to keep track of them. VERY dissatisfied with this plumber! Do not use them!

  *** -Everything would have been reconnected for a garbage disposal replacement. Also water wouldn't be ******* if it was from a drain line it would only leak when the sink was used. You also through a home warranty wouldn't have to pay for a return trip within the warranty range. We are very clear when we set times for apt's - days and time slots so you may have mistakenly thought something different but we do this every day and we don't show up on wrong days or wrong times. We have been in business for 40 plus years so your claims are possibly not quite valid as we wouldn't have lasted that long if that was the way we operated.

  We are extremely dissatisfied with Carl's Plumbing. They ended fixing one of two leaks I had requested service for. When I asked about the 2nd leak they said I have to do a brand new order, even though they had already approved servicing both leaks.
  They were not forthcoming in appraising me they would charge me per hour in opening up the wall, until after it was done. They had appraised me only to do the entire wall opening at first. They charged me for 4 hours of opening the wall, when they really took 2.5 hours. When I refused to pay for the 4 hours, the owner came on the phone and threatened me first that he would go inside the house and remove the new piping they just placed. When i answered I would not give them permission to sack my house, he threatened me he would place a lien on the house and get his lawyers after me. He eventually accepted 2.5 hours of wall opening as long as I paid him cash. It was a horrible experience with them. I'll never use them again.

  I had two stoppage in the kitchen sink and in the basement laundry tub. I called ******** **** ****** and they assigned Carl's Plumbing to come out. When the contractor arrived he open up the pipe in the laundry room and called me down to the basement and informed me he couldn't snake the pipes because the matter inside them had builded up, became hard, that the snake couldn't push through the pipe, the pipes were a code violation, and they need to be replace. If they bring it up to code I wouldn't have access to the kitchen for a while because the lateral pipe that needs to be replaced leads from the kitchen to the basement and they would have to tear the wall out underneath the kitchen sink, and open up the basement floor; that's if I decide to let them do the work. Later he calls me back down and shows me he pulled the insulation from around the lateral pipe up in the basement ceiling and said it has rusted, water is going to run down the wall if I turn on the kitchen sink, he replaced the pipe under the laundry tub and rudely ask did I want a quote. The quote is over $3000, the pipe he replaced is leaking, the rusky pipe is exposed and water runs down the wall like Niagara Falls (which never leaked until he did whatever to it). *** refused to do a recall because the order was only for stoppage and Carl's did not mention replacing a pipe in their work order. Carl's refuses to repair the damage they've done. They only agreed to fix the leak under the laundry tub and not the rusted pipe the gushes water when you turn on the kitchen facuet. I called the **** ** ********* Building Inspector. He claims Carls did not send any permit to the city to replace my pipes. He said the majority of houses are in code violations because they are old, Carl's plumbing knows they cornered me to suck money out of me and if he came out I would be held accountable for the violation, not them. *** and Carl's Plumbing are crooks and they need to be held accountable!!!

  He came out to our house to look at a water heater leaking, through our home warranty. He said the water heater is broke and needs to be replaced-congrats we could have thought of that. He looked at the water for 2-3mins then said everything around it is not up to code and needs to be replaced, and left to send us a quote. It came out to be $1400 and broke it all down for us. He never once went on our roof to look at the chimney, but said the liner needs to be replaced. He said the connection are not correct, yet we have the same piping coming off the furnace and through the entire house. He made no comment about that. We had someone else come out, said it was a leaking pipe, replaced it and now we have hot water again. Carl's plumbing was trying to rip us off, and do work that was not needed to take advantage of us and the home warranty company.
