      Start of replacing roof: Oct 17, 20**. I have included 2 documents, one provides specific quotations from my contract and how those violations occurred and the other is a specific play by play about what has happened daily since the workers began work to replace my small, bungalow roof. I have provided quotes from texts and emails and from memory. It is slightly more complicated because the funding is from a Federal HUD grant to the city of ********* (Housing Rehabilitation Program **** ) in which I have received funding for these repairs. The 4 main highlights are 1) the contractor is not licensed (it expired many years ago) and is contractually obligated to do so 2) ******** had been smoking weed while on my property 3) After little work was done after 2 weeks, I hired private roofing contractor who assessed the half done repairs to my roof were completely inept, in need of complete removal of current work, were not up to manufacturer's specificification so invalidated the warranty and left my house in risk of damage since it was not done properly and they have not been using tarps on the bare roof at night. No money been paid out to this contractor at this time, when I offered to pay $2,000 for the work that was done of the $9,000 they asked , they then sent a Notice of Intention to File a Lien for $12,538.48. 4) Workers came to my house, with no notice and demanded I open the garage to give them access to their supplies, but since I was at work, I could not, so they somehow gained entry without my permission and then called the police (case# **-033282) on me for leaving my car in my driveway blocking them from removing their supplies and then they placed a cement block behind my vehicle. The police ended up asking if I wanted to file charges against the workers for illegal entry and harassment (I opted out)and escorted them off my property and were told if they ever returned they would be arrested for trespassing.
