I had MULTIPLE ISSUES with the service from Sammy the Tree Guys crew. If something is an easy access maybe your he is fine to hire. But from my experience only use Sammy THe Tree Guy if the trees you need down are out in the open with absolutely nothing else around. I used him because he was cheaper (my quotes for tree removal ranged from $3k-8k), and he told me the trees and shrubs in a 30 foot (yes thirty) radius would not be harmed when he took down my huge ******* Not the case in the end. Sammy was in ** when his staff took down my $3K tree and they messed up the lawn and indiscriminately cut down nearby trees. A privacy hedge Sammy told me would not be bothered, is completely gone (all 20 feet of it). Expect to also fill lawn divits from the fallen large bits-they won't do it for you. And leaving a huge chunk of cut too?? It was a 2-3 foot diameter slab about 1.5-2 feet tall. How is a homeowner to deal with a huge piece like that not taken by the service you paid $3k to ?! It was left and they never returned. Sammy was very nice perhaps hes just a good salesman talkin the talk :( but did not provide what he said he could when I asked for all the details on what he could do when he visited for the quote. And when i called him about the unmovable slab of wood he left, he said hed be back for the HUGE piece they didnt take-but never did come back!! And the base of the ****** at ground level was where two trunks metabout 5 feet across. It was supposed to be taken to ground level, but I have a remaining trunk thats up to my chest. Clearly, if something is too hard to get out, Sammys crew just doesnt finish the job.

The crew from "Sammy The Tree Guy" did some tree work on my next door neighbor's tree taking down branches but not the tree trunk on April 21, 2023. One of those trees had branches overhanging my property which includes a white cedar wooden fence that is very near the property line. I allowed members of his crew on my property inside my fence to more easily facilitate dropping those branches that overhang my property. In the process the crew damaged and did not deny damaging my fence. They called ******************************* (Sammy The Tree Guy) on his cell phone and I was allowed to speak directly to him. He assured me that someone would come in a few days and repair my fence. It has been 7 days and no one has come to repair my fence or contacted me about repairing my fence. In that time I've spoken to numerous people who have relayed similar experiences with property damage caused my the crew of Sammy the Tree Guy who were promised repairs and received none. ****************************' LLC for "Sammy The Tree Guy", file number S131867, is TWO YEARS DELINQUENT according to the ******************** of ********* Institutions. This does not speak well of any intentions to make good on promises of repair to damage caused by "Sammy The Tree Guy".
