      This is a review of the *********** location. **** signed me up for a challenge. He explained that I could renew at the end of the challenge or continue to pay membership fee. I havent used the club in over 6 months and when I cancelled with **** in April he agreed. After agreeing to cancel, he texted me to request that I come in to complete paperwork. He did not communicate that my cancellation didnt happen and wouldnt until the paperwork was complete. I got charged again in May and reached out and was now told I needed to complete the paperwork so I got times that I could come in to cancel. I left work to complete the cancelation and have a text from ******* on May 10th that the club manager would process everything on May 13th. I continue to be charged.

      Stay away from this fitness chain. They make it nearly impossible to cancel your membership. They come up with ways to charge more than what your agreement states and bully you when you do finally figure out how to contact someone to cancel your membership.

      Do NOT sign up with this business. They are absolute masters at dishonesty, deception and scam artistry. They will begin by building your trust, taking your money and promising to be with you every step of the way. Once you have signed up, there will be an onslaught of hidden fees that are not divulged that you will see taken from your bank account weekly, and once your term is up, you continue to be charged, even when you have done diligence in jumping through every hoop they tell you to obtain cancellation, which includes you having to contact a third party source who do not speak English and cannot resolve anything. They are thieves, liars and an absolute hoax as far as caring about your well being. Please find a BBB accredited facility for your work out needs, or you will end up physically, emotionally and bank account drained/spent.

      I have been getting charged for 6 years without being told you needed to cancel until i noticed I had a collection against me. They are the worst business out there.

      We do apologize but all of our agreements do go month to month after their term is up because we find some people don't want to sign another long term agreement with us. This allows members to keep their low rate without extending their term. It is something that we do have people sign off on when getting started.

      I signed up for anytime fitness group training, and moved farther away from the facility and was unable to attend classes. I had signed up for a 6 mo contract and was nearing the end. I had asked about cackling my classes, and they told me it would be a 190$ fee, or to pay for 3 more times (which was the lesser value) I chose to continue with the 3x more payment. At the end of my contract they continued to bill me. They did not make it clear that they would continue with month to month billing when I signed the contract, and did not reach out to me, to see if I would like to cancel.

      Management failed to fully disclose membership cancellation policies, charging membership fees after cancellation was completed. Cancellation occurred over the phone and management never informed the client that a written contract needed to be signed. Several months later a phone call was received from Anytime Fitness indicating a balance remained on the account. They then stated an email was sent out with the contractual form to be signed. The email was sent to a spam email folder that deletes after 2 weeks.

      They advertise a free 6 week session, and when you go for the initial introduction, they then tell you it is $599. It is a bait and switch. Terrible way to promote your business through deceit and lies!!!
