    We asked Hyland to pour a small patio slab and steps. He assured us that this was within his area of expertise. Owner ***** Hyland said he'd start immediately. We had to call and text for 3 weeks to get him started. He would show up at random and stayed only a few hours at a time. The job was small and should have taken 2 days to complete. Another 2 weeks after he started the job he poured the slab and steps. The job was nothing close to what we asked for. He never returned to finish the work! The stairs are uneven. Large holes are in the concrete. Boards for the frame are still stuck in the concrete. He tore up the yard with his equipment and promised to restore it. Large screws and chunks of cement are littered over our yard. He will not return calls or emails. He even left his equipment here and has not returned to get it as that would mean he would have to face us. We called our local news network. When they called him he admitted the work was not done but minimized the situation by saying that the steps only needed smoothing. He still hasn't called or come to finish the work. He has been paid in full as he demanded payment up front. In looking at his reviews this is not the first time he has left work undone after payment. Please help protect other consumers.
