      ************** Name: Tony Lalicata Cement Contractor, *** Project start date/contract signing: Contracted 3/22/2025. Project completed 6/4/2025 Description of issue(s). Our contract states that fill was to remain on site, however, the contractor removed half a truckload of clean dirt fill that was needed for landscaping repair afterwards. The contractor charged $162.50 to remove the dirt fill. I needed to purchase three cubic yards of dirt at $163.37 to repair the landscaping. I've contacted the company multiple times to discuss the matter, but have never received a call back from their representative.

      Hello, in regards to complaint 78289070DA629

       

      after reading complaint. We are very confused. The customer has not contacted us multiple times. And did not make us aware of his concern on the closure of final balance. 

      The dirt full hauled away was not useable dirt  for backfilling a concrete pad. 

      However we do not want to make this a bigger deal. And our goal is to keep a customer happy. We are willing to cut a check to customer for $162.50 refund. To resolve this issue.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, I don't agree with their conjecture of the quality of the soil that was hauled away or the number of times I spoke with a women in their office who assured me one of her sons would call me, however, I am willing to accept their offer to settle this matter.
