    We hired Clutter Solvers, owned by Callen *********, to hold a 2-day estate sale for our life-long collector, very ill, elderly father. Mr. ********* did the bare minimum to promote the sale: we saw only two tiny street signs without the address and 4 online ads (2 for the estate sale and 1 for our father’s’s boat and another 1 for our father’s car). He also did not provide itemization for any items sold at the estate sale itself, so there was no accounting for what had actually sold. This came as quite a surprise to us. After the sale and after receiving a very disappointing final payment from Mr. *********, we found a number of our father’s unique, more valuable items for sale on Mr. *********’s **** account (**********************). We didn’t see these items after day 1 of the estate sale and had assumed they had sold (since sales aren’t itemized). When we questioned him, he stated that since we paid for clear out services all the unsold items were now Clutter Solvers property. This was not stated anywhere in the contract. He told us he did donate many of the items as we requested, but we had requested *all* unsold items that were not thrown out go to *** ******* ******, our father’s favorite charity. Overall, we were very disappointed with Clutter Solvers’ and Mr. *********’s service. Please save your families the heartache our family has experienced as a result of working with this company.
