As someone new to the Vending Machine Space, I wasnt sure what to expect from a company like HRI. Im happy to say that my experience has been tremendous - they are prompt, helpful and have great communication. As I look to expand my Small Business, I will absolutely continue to work with HRI for all of my Vending Needs.

Let me start by saying I knew nothing about vending machines when I purchased my first soda machine from HRI Vending. They set up a time for me to come in and learn how to use the machine before delivery, which made me feel more comfortable with my purchase. They also walked me through how to correct a jam months later over the phone. They've been really helpful and friendly with any questions I have had over email and phone. I will be buying more machines from them.

Great service from HRI. I have bought multiple machines from them. The last one had an issue from the start and they stood behind it and got us taken care of and back up and running. I will use them again in the future.

Im all for capitalism but this company takes it out of hand. Zero communication from their technicians. I paid top notch service and mileage costs for work I could have done myself. I thoroughly explained that I replaced brand new parts on the machine, but they proceeded to replace them anyways. They also took my old validator without communicating it, and they still have my AP board. Posting this to protect new vendors by making the right choices financially. Do not consult them for repair, and if you do I would get communication in writing for their future actions. Friendly people, but just friendly enough to take your money and leave you in the dust, buyer beware.

Hello *******, Thank you for your feedback. This review was also posted and responded to promptly on another platform. We are so sorry to hear that our repair service didn't meet your expectations. Our technicians do their best to bring as many parts that could be needed to repair each unique machine by the information that is relayed to us when the service call is placed. Sometimes additional parts need to be ordered after a machine is fully diagnosed by a service technician. Our labor and mileage rates were communicated prior to scheduling the service call. Your initial request for service was to have two card readers that you already owned, installed on two of your machines. You were billed for the time it took to install these on two separate machines. When our technician diagnosed the machine, he found that you also needed a new bill acceptor and a coin mechanism in order for the machine to work properly in connection to the card reader. He also found that the snack machine had a bad board. Our technician explained that we did not have the board that you needed for your machine, and offered to send it in for repair as a solution. You requested to have the board shipped directly to you to install yourself when it came back. After it was sent in for repair, you then asked us to instead cancel it to have another service install one that was closer to you. You also asked for the nonworking bill acceptor back to reduce the bill, in which we removed the part from your invoice and returned to you per your request. Our repair service rates are standard for the vending industry. While we understand that you are unhappy with the quoted price on parts, these are based on current equipment prices. The price of parts have increased Nationwide. Please feel free to contact our office at any time, should you have further questions and/or concerns. You can also email us directly at ***********************************

I used HRI Vending since 2018 for moving and service. Even when I had "white glove" delivery set for my 20+ fleet I used HRI and paid him for the move. I went to far as to drive and drop off a check for Mark Hytry because he was short on payroll. I gave the Hytrys' many referrals over the years. I was not given a discount. Ever. Not so much as a "thank you" in fact. Recently I was sold a "refurbished" machine from HRI. By "refurbished" I mean they spray painted the exterior cabinet black and cleaned it. I was literally taken off a barn floor and sold to me for $2,300. That's what you can expect in terms of ethical sales from the HRI family. The drink machine I bought is about 18 months old. The machine would freeze (and explode) my drinks. I also had replaced the coin mechanism. I paid HRI's ridiculously service fee ($1.50 per mile round trip; $110 / hour). He then sold me a full priced junk control board to fix the freezing issue. Around six months later (today), its freezing and exploding drinks. Again. Mark's wife and daughter's response? "It's a refurbished unit. Like all mechanical things they break." Funny none of my other 20+ machines have EVER done this. Maybe actually fix the machines before you sell them. I request that a service call be put in w his daughter. The daughter stumbled and bumbled because I didn't know the exact address and tells me "I'll call you back." His wife calls about an hour later and asked, "Why are the cans exploding?! Are you putting the cans in wrong?!" Yes, I'm putting the cans in so they freeze and explode. I requested that the machine be picked up and taken. His wife refuses. She uses profanity and tells me shut up. She then informs me "We aren't looking for any more machines! Sell the machine and find a new service provider!" CLICK. Happily! AVOID THESE CROOKS. No matter how well you treat them, they will find a way to take advantage of you.

This gentleman has gone on multiple platforms using this name and other names to make false claims about HRI Vending, in an attempt to hurt our business. We are aware that other businesses in our area have also been affected. He has falsified his name under the title "Mushashi", along with other names over different platforms over the course of several years. Attempts were made to resolve this. We are working to identify each review.

It's pitiful that HRI resorts to claiming their bad reviews are composed of "false claims." I have the screenshots of the lies made by one of the owners, Kim H. and the invoices to back up my claims. It's equally pathetic that HRI calls out negative reviewers that post to "multiple platforms." Of course they do! When you deal with your customers in an unethical manner your consumers will rightfully call you out to protect others on the widest array of platforms possible. NO attempts were made to "resolve this." As noted in my review, I was told to find a new service provider. End of story. HRI has no issues continuing lying to maintain their thin veener of any kind of business ethics.
