Last July 1 we hired BAPO Remodeling to remodel our bathroom.at a cost of $6000 for labor only which included removal and replace old tub toilet sinks and shower and flooring. We were to purchase materials and have them delivered. We were pleased with the results for the most part and felt we had a good working relationship. He had recommended the ********* 12x24 LVT which was a groutable tile ***** felt he could install over the old linoleum with glue. The floor was installed August 6th and the glue was supposed to dry within 30 minutes. When I checked that evening the tile was still moveable as the glue hadnt dried. I contacted ***** the next day and he suggested putting a fan on it which we did for a couple days. It still was moveable so when he came back he took up all the tile and scraped off what he could of the glue. At that point I suggested I would buy new tile and maybe he should put a sub floor in. He felt with the new glue he could make it work. He relaid the tile we waited a few days and he came back to grout. Within a couple months we started to notice some hairline cracks in the grout. After a while the grout started to pop out and we noticed smudges from glue that had not completely dried and oozed in some areas. On March 15 I contacted ***** and sent pictures of the problem and he said would have to come out and look at it. From then on he didnt answer texts messages or phone calls. In April we called in 2 contractors to look at the floor and give their opinion. Both felt the only thing to do was take it all out, lay a sub floor and get new tile. I sent the proposal from Landmark Remodeling Services for $1725.00to ***** which is the cost for replacing the floor with the same tile we ordered over a new sub floor. We explained the whole problem in detail and asked for only part of the cost $500.00. He has refused to communicate on any level so I felt it necessary to contact the Better Business Bureau. Please advise if there is a problem of uploads
