They advertised a 59.99 eye exam for glasses or contacts. Later the advertisement was changed to eye glasses only and only if you purchase lenses from them. I was initially charged $170 for the eye exam and after complaining I received a $30 discount which was still more than I'd typically pay for just a contact eye exam. At ******* I paid $90 for a contact eye exam on one occasion, and on another occasion I paid $140 but also received a 6 month supply of monthly wear contacts. This company is very deceptive about pricing, unless you ask and you're thorough in your line of questioning they'll provide services you didn't ask for and charge you for them. I was told after the eye exam that they were ordering me trial contacts, I presume a 6 to 12 week supply. This was on 4/11/25. Today it is 5/6/25. I called to inquire whether the contacts included in the overpriced exam had arrived. I provided my name and was given a line of ?? from Tracy that there were issues with shipping. More likely, because I was upset and complained about their deceptive marketing they just never ordered them. She said she was going to call the distribution center and give me a call back. It's been about half an hour and I still haven't heard back. I would recommend avoiding this company especially this location. There also isn't an onsite optometrist, there's an aide who collects data and submits it to an optometrist who you'll have a zoom meeting with to finalize the prescription and to go over the collected data. I've been to a variety of eye doctors over the last 20 years, and this is by far the worst experience I've had with a company in that time. There are more transparent companies, companies who do not rely on bait and switch tactics to attract customers, who uphold the end of their agreements, who do not lie to their customers (3+ weeks contacts haven't arrived, calling distribution, will call you right back), and are much more deserving of your money.

I have never been more disappointed in a company after reading reviews – than I have been with Wisconsin Vision. It started out fine (a little disappointed when told they didn’t have a type of frame I was looking for – only to find out later they did). Bought two pair – regular and sun glasses. Got both pair within a week and a half. After a week I came back to the store (on a Friday) and told them I was not comfortable with the fit-style – just did not like anything about the sun glasses and ask for a refund. I was told there was no problem – they took the sun glasses and told me the person who would handle that was not in and would call me Saturday morning to take care it. I wound up calling Saturday afternoon and was told they don’t do refunds – when I told them I have transitions lens and don’t need the sun glasses – I was told it doesn’t matter they don’t give refunds – I would have to come and pick out something else. I asked “Don’t believe in customer satisfaction?” the person I was talking actually said “no”. Oh and it now been Three (3) weeks since I was forced to pick out another pair of sun glasses still have not got them. To future customers – Be Aware
