  Absolute worst treatment I have ever had from a supposed legitimate business. I was verbally threatened multiple times by their employee ******** for wanting to verify a full VIN number before completing a trailer purchase and for paying with a Cashier's Check and not wanting to provide a copy of my ID as ******** lied about the reason for wanting a copy of my ID. Agreed to purchase trailer posted on a ******** *********** listing from Fox Valley Total Construction LLC DBA Fox Valley Trailer Sales in New London, WI on 06/01/2024 and put down a deposit. Trailer was not in stock and needed to be shipped. Went to pick up trailer on 06/12/2024 as agreed upon with business. Before any additional money was exchanged, I asked to verify the full VIN number of the trailer with the VIN number on the Certificate Of Origin For A Vehicle for the trailer. Immediately ******** became hostile, angry, and combative because I wanted to verify the complete VIN. ******** stated multiple times in a highly agitated tone of voice that she has been doing this for four years and I only need to verify the last 4 digits of the VIN, not the full VIN. Major red flags. I gave ******** a Cashier’s Check from a major financial institution payable to Fox Valley Trailer Sales as requested, for the remainder of balance due. ******** then demanded my ID so she can take a picture of it with her cell phone. ******** claimed multiple times that she needed to submit a copy of my ID to her bank when depositing the Cashier’s Check into their business account. I questioned this being a bank policy and when I said we can call your bank to confirm their policy (**** ***** ********* **** per ********), ******** then hastily stated that she was no longer going to take a copy of my ID in order to get me out of the parking lot faster. ******** then proceeded to verbally threaten me stating at least three times that she would “Come find me if the Cashier’s Check bounced.”
