Bought the car for $7,200 on dec 27, 2022 within 12 hrs of driving check engine light came on with three codes. Dec 29 Brought back to auto mall and they looked at it overnight claim they relearned the timing, did an oil change and it was all fixed. Picked up car on dec 31. Jan 23 more codes include the original codes. Jan 24 even more codes are on and it sounds like a helicopter. Jan 25 brought car in. Jan 26 auto mall tells me that there isnt anything wrong with the timing, that its burning oil and need to keep an eye on the oil level. Offered to take it as a trade in (no value given) for a vehicle ***** traverse for $14,000. Declined as the vehicle didn't meet our needs and we didn't have any additional money to pay to a vehicle. March 1st check engine light and more codes including the original codes and vehicle sounds like a helicopter again. Brought the vehicle back to the auto mall and they turned the car on and immediately said that the engine is shot. Didn't do any further checking. They tried to get us to buy another vehicle and stated they could give us scrap value as a trade in. The vehicle is currently woth us but no longer starts. Approximately 60 days after buying this vehicle it's no longer working and has thrown the same wngine code every time of p0741 and was never fixed ever despite being told that it was. New Richmond auto mall refuses to do anythingThe guy that sold me the vehicle told my husband he tried to get his brother to not buy a vehicle from him but he did and the vehicle died three days later. The same car salesman told my brother when looking at vehicles after they told us its junk....told him that he wouldn't **** him the jeep Wrangler on the lot because it has motor issues. The new Richmond auto mall appears to have several different names. Cooper motors and new Richmond auto mall are listed on most of my paperwork but according to this website midwest auto is listed. The one we bought from is on ******* ave. In new Richmond, Wis.

At New Richmond Auto Mall we stand by our sales practices. We sold a nearly 20 year old vehicle "as is" and made no promises that it was perfect. The State of Wisconsin DMV has looked into this compliant and has found New Richmond Auto Mall has done nothing wrong.

      Thank you

On 8.7.21, I purchased a 2012 **** Raptor from New Richmond Auto Mall with ****** miles, along with an extended warranty. I had concerns about the transmission and a few small things. They kept the truck and did a transmission diagnostic, stating there was nothing wrong and charged $2,062.36. Within a week the transmission went out. They did fix the transmission under the warranty. Received the truck back on 8.26.2021. On 9.16.2021 with ****** miles, the rear differential then went out, contacted ************, had truck towed there. They had fixed this under the warranty. Received vehicle back on 9.24.2021. At the end of January 2022, the truck was towed back to New Richmond Auto Mall, due to motor failure, at this time they did not have a mechanic and said it would take a few months. I reached out to the warranty company, and they stated to take the vehicle somewhere else. Towed vehicle to another shop where they did inspection, and the warranty company came out due to needing an entire new engine. At this time, I was told that our warranty was voided as the vehicle was sold to us without a catalytic converter. I was under the impression that when the warranty was sold to me that Auto Mall did the inspection needed and sold us a warranty that would be valid with this vehicle. I called the Auto Mall to talk through this, they stated if we would have brought the vehicle into them there is ways around it. At this time, I paid them ***** to fix the engine, I paid for the motor, and they did the labor for free, no receipt was given, and they refused to give one when asked. I received the truck back with the radiator broken, drove it the next day and it overheated. They fixed that and returned it with the electrical dangling and ripped off, the fuel line popped off from the motor. All other expenses have cost me over ****** to have a vehicle in the shop more than on the road. I have asked them several times for documentation of work done and they refuse.
