Had a ***** loan with them and in the middle of home renovations they decided that because in a picture the siding was off the house and the garage is due to be torn down, the house was now worth less than the ***** amount so they froze the account and ground the process to a halt. They tote "get a ***** for home improvements" but if you actually start the work of removing old to replace with new but they see the work during that process they will freeze your account and say the house is worth less. They can not comprehend that during a remodel you have to get rid of the old stuff to replace with new.I banked with Tri City National bank for over 15 years and this service was so poor that I pulled all my accounts and went elsewhere. Be better Tri City!!!

I had two transactions that made my account negative. One transaction I forgot it was to come out so I was going to cover the transaction and fee. The second transaction was from my son ****** who charged my card even after I paid him cash. However he did refund me through cash app which brought my account to a -$31.91 on 05.15.24. I check my account at 6am this morning before leaving for work and deposited in the drop box $35.00 to cover the fee. I receive a call that my account is still in the negative because a pending fee was coming through that I could not see on my end that they can only see. When I think I am bringing my account current it so happened to be still charged because my account was negative after 6pm the following day. It is 05.16.24 and I work from 6:45am-7pm which means if I put another $35.00 tomorrow to bring my account current then I will be charged again for today of my account going negative. The manager at the Branch was really rude and disrespectful. They treat us brown men and women as if we're beneath them. I have a college degree and do not appreciate being talked to like I am some uneducated woman on the streets. Tri City need to have a better plan in place for people who are bringing their accounts current. This is very disturbing being that times is hard and now I feel like not only did I throw away money, I still have another fee I didn't ask for but still I am at work and can't get to the bank in time before another fee is added on. I would give this bank zero stars if I could!

Instead of sitting down with me and explaining why they were closing my account, which would have saved me a lot of heart ache and a lot of money from a love scam online, they just closed my account with a cryptic excuse without warning one day when I went to the bank.

This bank has does not respect its' clients. I received an email from them to complete a survey on my recent visit. I completed the survey, clicked submit. I received a "Thank you" for completing the survey and offered a free gift however I had to pay for shipping. Which I did by entering my bank card information. Somehow they billed me the $7.98 for shipping and an additional $82.45. I called the bank and filed a dispute against the company which Tri-City sided with them and approved the charge then charged me an overdraft fee of $70.00. I ended up putting a total of $146.50 into my account to cover the charges. I went to the back to talk to someone in person who said they would talk to their security team because I should not of been redirected to another site upon completion of the survey. This was on Saturday , September 9th. On Monday September 11th I received a certified letter from Haylee ** stating my account would be closed by October 6, 2023 due to "unacceptable debit card handling". I called and asked the representative to close the account immediately. Up until today I had been banking with them for over 15 years. I've told all my friends and family about this situation so good luck, Tri-City.

Dear ******,Thank you for your feedback. Per our phone conversations, Tri City National Bank determined that you received a pop-up ad for a purchase which was not prompted by your completion of a Tri City National Bank requested survey. However, as a courtesy, we did refund your account for the fees you incurred. Please feel free to contact us should you have any additional questions.Sincerely,********************* Senior Vice President
