Recently bought a car, a week later it starts to idle very high so I figured its a used car. I took it to my mechanic. It was an $800 fix another week goes by car starts to vibrate and I couldnt close the sunroof at this point. Im a little irritated so I took it back to Ewald, service guys cleaned the sunroof and couldnt find the vibration. Said it was normal for that vehicle. No car vibrates. Its not possible another week goes by sunroof seemed to stop working completely. I took it back to service and was told that they will not fix it because the fix cost more than the car is worth. So they basically sold me a car with issues. It hasnt even been a month and I try to contact management and they offered me to trade the car in for something on the lot. They had nothing on the lot that I liked so I asked them if they wanted to buy the car back they did not they ignore me and ignore me. They said they didnt have a buyback program so Im stuck with a lemon, I will never buy a car from this dealer ever again. I dont even want to hear the name.

First and foremost, we want to sincerely thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We also want to acknowledge the distress you experienced no one should feel that their trust or finances were compromised, especially when making such an important purchase. Sunroof Issue: According to our service records, the vehicle passed its pre-sale inspection without any indication of sunroof malfunction. However, if the issue developed shortly after the sale or was mishandled during service, we sincerely apologize and are committed to investigating it further.Vibration Complaint: The technician who assessed the vehicle noted that the vibration was within manufacturer specifications. That said, if the issue continues or worsens, we are more than willing to perform another diagnostic at no cost to you. Your satisfaction and safety are priorities for ************ Concerns: You mentioned a loss and dissatisfaction with your trade-in and the financing process. Our General Manager did extend an offer to trade your current vehicle in for the full $11,000 a goodwill gesture that exceeded typical practice which you chose not to pursue. We are open to finding a resolution. If youre willing, we invite you to speak directly with our management team to explore what can be done to help rebuild some of the trust you feel was lost.Ewald Chevrolet ************

Sure you respond to my review? Why do you keep state I did not pursue the trade in? When I clearly did? You tried to put me in a ***** car? You had nothing on the lot.. for my trade? Which part of that do you not understand as a business? Why do I have to contact you again after at least 5 emails that the entire management team was copied on? Are you kidding? So I have to reach out again? As if I never tried? Are you kidding? You have at least 10 bad ****** reviews about your service team yet you want to diagnose the car for the third time? Or is it the fourth? So now we just keep Going back and fourth with no resolution what so ever? I have to keep bringing the car back? Why? Seriously professionalism at its worst.

I initially gave Ewald 5 stars. We really liked working with **** and felt the finance guy was very efficient. However, 13 months later, we needed a form filled out to register our car after we moved out of state. Its a simple form that doesnt require the dealership to state anything except the make and model of the car, the vin, the purchase price, and how much we paid in taxes at the time of purchase. I was initially ignored for 2 weeks despite numerous messages, then when I finally found a way to contact someone, they were very condescending and wouldnt let me talk. I finally had to raise my voice so they would let me explain what the *** told me and they immediately got defensive and told me I was being unreasonable. To be honest, Ive never raised my voice at any type of customer service and I typically would feel really bad about it except that I now have a $60K car that will not be (technically) legal to drive and literally the only way I can get my car registered is through having the dealership I purchased it from fill out the ******* initial review: **** was great and everything was so efficient. We appreciate all they did and love our new car!

Agreed to buy a new Kia Sorento with an agreed upon price for my Infinity Q50 trade in of $19,500. Three months later when the new Sorento arrived, without seeing my Infinity, they dropped the price on my Infinity to $14,000. While waiting for 3 months for the Sorento to arrive the Infinity was driven very little and still in good condition. There was no reason for Ewald Kia to reduce the price of my trade in by $5,000.

My appointment was Wednesday morning 11/1/23 at 8am. Gary helped to check my car in at about 715am and was pleasant to speak with and found a courtesy ride home for me. I called the shop around 11am to ask if the car had been looked at yet and it had not. So, I called again about 4pm and it still wasn't looked at per Gary. He would call me Thursday morning with any updates. On Thursday morning at 8am Gary called and said that yes, the car needed to have the control arm repaired. He then tells me that the claim was approved by my warranty company and they would cover 3 days for a car rental. I said that I didn't need a rental unless it was going to take a long time to fix. Gary said let him figure out when he could get parts and he would call me back with a time frame on when It would be fixed. He called me back at 11am and said great news we have the parts and it will be fixed by the end of the day Thursday. I found a ride at 4pm to go get the car assuming that it would be done. Get there and Gary says that they haven't even started it. He had me take a seat in the waiting area while he tried to figure things out. He then came and said "sit tight" they are going to work on it and it'll only take an hour. At 5pm I get a text from that says "we are running into an issue getting yours completed are we able to keep it overnight?" I was sitting in the waiting room! So, I walked up the service counter and another service advisor {Dakota) said that they found nothing wrong with my car and he didn't even know why it was there. That a "Wayne" took it for a ride and didn't feel the clunking that I complained about. Didn't feel it?!? Did he look at it? How exactly did he make that judgment without looking at it? and why did he not consult with the tech who previously told the service advisor that my car had an issue? I Took my car home. 2 weeks later another dealership fixed the car. Bad control arm and ball joint bushing. I want 3 days of my life back.

Took my 2019 Kia Sorento in to have A-C checked because it was blowing hot air. They found a leak in the condenser and needed a new condenser and told me I had to pay them $1000 to order the part plus $100 more if I wanted next day delivery. I did not pay extra $100 part took a week to come in. They called and set up a time to bring the car in they put the new condenser in and went to pick up the car. The bill was $1563.18 the condenser part 97606-c5600 was $652.00 I checked KIA .OEMPARTSONLINE.COM for the same condenser part 97606-c5600 was $370.37 and checked KIApartsnow.com had the same condenser part 97606-c5600 for $400.48 the dealer said they only use KIA parts these are all the same parts. I think they are marking up there parts and the labor is way out line for what had to be done to do this job and we had KIA warranty that said it wasn"t covered 6/12/23
