I hired this company to do my roof, afterwards they told me I needed insulation. I paid them $2,000 to do insulation plus other work. It took a long time for them to do the work-I asked to get out of the contract of the remaining work and because of my health and my mom wasnt doing well. I confronted them about the overcharge and they gave no answer besides they normally have a profit of 15% and charged me $800 more yet. Which the insulation work was only $800.(I have pictures of everything and pictures of emails and a text and emails where I asked to get out of the contract etc. Not sure if I can include all pictures in this.) I contacted consumer protection/******************************************************* in June and they got no response from Wolf Exteriors/*** the owner and closed it in August. Emails also are included from Alpine Insulation. Including a lot of pictures. I have more pictures but am not able to load them.

We replaced Ms. ***** ******** roof and were paid in full. An additional contract was signed by the homeowner, Ms. ****** in the amount of $3,971 for insulation work. She made a down payment of $2,000. This estimate was provided to Ms. ****** in January of 2024. Ms. ****** did not sign the contract until March of 2024. We subcontracted the majority of the work listed on the signed contract. Industry standards factors in around 10% for overhead costs and an additional 10% for profit. The invoice Ms. ****** received from Alpine Insulation was meant to be sent to us for labor only. She did not have a signed contract with *****************. We had already completed the majority of the work when Ms. ****** informed us she would like to terminate the contract. We applied a deduction for the remaining work in the contract that we did NOT do in the amount of $1,1185. We would have allowed Ms. ****** to terminate the entire contract due to her personal circumstances, but unfortunately the project had already been completed except for one item which was deducted from the final invoice. The owner, ***** Noltner, did have a verbal telephone conversation with the Consumer Protection Investigator, **** ******. In conclusion, Ms. ****** signed a legally binding contract with the total cost of the project and details of what the work would entail. We did not overcharge her. There was a deduction made on the final invoice for the work that we did not complete due to her request for terminating the remaining work in the contract. Ms. ****** was ONLY charged for the work that was completed.

Alpine did the Insulation and spay foam to the ceiling fans from attic and sent me the $800.00 bill which was for both items. Why did I pay $2,000.00 for a $800 job?

**** from Consumer Protection said you contacted him once but was waiting on you to get back to him to resolve this and you never did. (See attachments.)

We started this on July 25, 2022 with a down payment of $5000. Work started in Jan or Feb 2023. We made a payment of $10,000 on July 21, 2023 leaving an owed balance of $2027. The owner *************** comes to our house to settle up, we assumed to collect the balance of $2027 on Oct 5, 2023. *** said we owed $10229.24, he left with a check for $10,000 We thought our job for new siding, some facia, ** trim boards was $8679. according to our signed contact plus our $5000 down payment plus a garage door for $2330. equals $16009. not $25,000 We had asked and were promised touch up paint and repair to the aluminum window trim that they scraped all up installed the ** trim boards.

We have a contract with the ********* dated and signed on July 25, 2022 for $13,415.10. This was price was derived from an insurance estimate dated June 19, 2022. Wolf Exteriors works with insurance companies to adjust the original estimate primarily at the end of each project to reflect missing or underquoted items. This is explained in the signed contract with the property owners. After adjusting the estimate with the insurance company the price increased to $15,820.24 for the additional work that **** completed. We also had a signed contract dated October 25, 2022 for additional work and upgrades NOT included in the insurance estimate - that amount was $8,679.00. All of this was put into a detailed format when presented to the property owner for the final payment. We gave them a discount of $299.24 and were paid by the property owner what was agreed upon - $25,000 - for all work that was completed by ****. This is all shown in the documents that the ********* provided.

I don't accept what **** has stated. I have attached the original document 7/25/22 and also the one that they added $$$$ to months after we signed. Also the one that was signed on 10/25/22 that had the amount we thought we were paying.
