      In January, we got home and had no hot air blowing through our heater. We were scared this would cause our pipes to freeze as we were in below freezing weather. We called and Schneider heating came out and looked at our heater. He said that he'd never seen a heater like that and after hours wasn't sure what the issue was. He called someone and they said to switch out the pressure switch. He didn't have one that fit so he said he put a temp one in and would order the part. He didn't stay to see if it worked as he said he had other calls. Well 30 mins after he left when the heater powered on, we got the same blinking lights, only this time, no air and the machine wouldn't even kick on at this point. So we called him right away and he said he was too far away and would be 2-3am before he could come back as he had other calls. In the meantime, myself, my epileptic husband and 4 kids have no heat, prior to him coming at least we had heat, we had to go purchase heater that plug in, in order to not freeze, because of him coming and leaving us with no heat, our pipes bursts. He comes out a second time, gives me back the check I had made out to him, and said he can't fix it and can't accept payment as he can't fix it. Someone would call first thing in the morning. No one ever called. When I called, a tech that had no idea from Schneider said he could come out but what did it mean no heat. The tech hadn't relayed anything. Then he lied and said he came out on the 25th and is now wanting money for that visit. I am working to file a law suit against them as they cause more then one issue and never even got close to fixing our heater which is why they were called in the first place. Now they are asking for payment for a visit that never happened. I have the check he gave back to me as well as camera's showing the days he came and times etc. I also have the invoice from the company that actually fixed our heater days later after being ghosted from Schneider.       Let me begin with that this customer doesn't owe us anything because it has been charged off after they called in & talked to ******. This was generous of ****** because this didn't go down like ******** explained. Please see the attachment that shows the different service reports. ******** states that she had heat before we came out there & that we left them without heat. I'm sorry but they called in on a Sunday for us to come out. They obviously needed us & were willing to pay after hour fees. I'm saying this because they had a problem & we didn't just show up and create the problem. ************ was the tech & he is a great person & an awesome technician with over 10 year of HVAC experience. You can read his notes on what he did on Sunday afternoon & upon his return at 2:45 am Monday morning. We had **** scheduled to go out the next day. He was going to talk to *** on his way to the house to get caught up with details but the appointment was cancelled by the customer because of a Dr's ************ We were planning on taking care of the problem but weren't allowed back to their house. They went a different direction, but we certainly didn't ghost them. We intended on solving the problem. We did send an invoice for a weekend after hours call which is fair. We responded on a Sunday afternoon & then were back in the middle of the night. We were extremely busy with the temps being below zero. Unfortunately, their furnace was being difficult but the technician is top notch & was doing his best. Please read his notes. I'm sure that if given a chance the problem would have been resolved the next day when **** came out. He is another excellent technician. I'm not sure what else we can do for them since they don't owe us anything. I find it disturbing that people, such as ********, go to social media & bad mouth companies & give poor reviews. It's both rude & ignorant. *** worked all hours of the weekend & made a lot of people happy by getting them heat & making them comfortable in their homes. No appreciation!
