    The following certified letter (which was refused) outlines the issues.CERTIFIED MAIL RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED Sassy Farm Chicks Quilt Company ******************************* ***************************** *********************************************************************** Re: Negligent Handling of Quilt and Inappropriate Delay of Services ****************** and ********************:Nearly two years ago, ******************************* provided you with quilting squares she hand-stitched to be assembled and quilted by your place of business. Month over month, she was promised the quilt to no avail. ****************** continued to be more than patient with your lack of response and lack of professionalism.When Virginia arrived at your place of business in March 2023 to insist the quilt be returned to her unfinished, ****************** folded the quilt squares and placed them in a bag. Upon arriving home and inspecting the squares, ****************** noted that the squares were damaged due to your negligence. She was not informed of this damage when she picked up the quilt but had to place a call to your business to inquire about the damage. ****************** indicated she was unaware of the damage, but she went on to state that ******************** had inadvertently damaged the squares. ****************** assured ****************** that she would receive a call from ********************. As of today, that call has not come.Because the quilt was a gift to her granddaughter, she sought the services of another local quilter who completed the job including repairs to the damage caused by your negligence. ****************** paid a total of $300.00 for the repairs and final quilting.It is reprehensible that your business and each of you personally would take advantage of an 82 year-old woman in this fashion. As a result of the actions outlined above, we are requesting damages in the amount of $500.00 for the repairs of the quilt squares you damaged in addition to the services you failed to provide over the last 18 months.

    Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Sassy Farm Chicks Quilt Company has issued payment to my mom for damages in the amount of $500.00.

    We are pleased that they have accepted responsibility, and we consider the matter resolved.
