1 starNot impressed. I had a metal roof installed in 2022. When I arrived at the house I was told “I took down the gutters and am not putting them back up.” The drip edge he had made he claimed wouldn’t allow the gutters to be put back up. I agreed to let him continue. I had someone put gutters on the house in 2024, work great. Later in the installation I was told he was taking off three roof vents, they were not needed with the ridge vent. Those vents were for the bathroom vents and the range vent, I was able to convince him they needed to stay. If I had not been there he would’ve had them venting into the attic. When the snow came it sheared four pipes coming through the roof, two for the furnace and two plumbing vents. The furnace shut down. Not great in the middle of winter at a house 300 miles away. After tearing up the ceiling to repair the pipes and some temporary patch work on roof we got through the winter. In 2023 he came out and put up something to break up the snow above three of the pipes but didn’t replace the torn roof panel or protect the fourth pipe. In 2024 was told he was too busy to replace the torn panel but would put a large boot on that would cover the tear. Then he said he couldn’t put on a boot because the pipes were two different sizes. He said he wasn’t a plumber or pipe guy. I’m very disappointed in the whole thing.

Customer has pre fabricated house . It has many pipes on the roof .The snow damage many pipes and boots.I stopped by 4-5 time trying to help out .My last time by the pipe in question is 3 at the top 4 in the middle and 3 at the bottom . I need to cut the boot to fit over the 4 to slide Down to the roof deck that the pipe is 3 . Just cant make it work.I left him a new boot and screws. Told him to hire plumber and have One size pipe for the job and slide down my boot I left him.I am not a plumber .
