    I came in for an Xray of my elbow and Dr. ***** M ********** reviewed them with me. He said it was a minor break and that the bone was not displaced. He mentioned that with rest and 5-6 weeks the elbow will heal. I brought my own sling, and no treatment was given to me, but when my bill arrived Dr. ***** M ********** used a billing code that represented a more serious break and additional treatment.I called OAWs billing department to let them know I think the code being used was excessive and incorrectly applied as no treatment was provided. I was told that I needed to submit an email for disputes as nothing could be done over the phone.I emailed the billing department and **** ****** responded saying The charges are in line with the services done and that Dr. ********** is managing my fracture with the fracture care charge. I replied to **** that the only form of treatment I received was an Xray and I inquired for more information about my visit that day. **** responded to me on November 7th and today is November 20th and she has ignored and not responded to my three additional emails since then.I believe Dr. ********** acted in bad faith and misrepresented the services provided to me on my visit and therefore fraudulently relayed the services to my health insurance provider and ultimately scammed me for over a thousand dollars.**** ******, your lack of professionalism and lack of respect for me as a patient of your facility only added more frustration and misunderstanding to the matter. Your egregious unprofessionalism to leave this matter unanswered and unsolved leads me to believe you have done this to hundreds if not thousands of other patients throughout your career. Shame on you and shame on your establishment for putting you in a position where patients are distressed and where you could be so helpful, kind, and caring, but instead you choose to be dismissive, short, and unhelpful.
