    We just bought and moved into our home in April 2022. We started looking for a builder and chose Breunig Builders through a reference. The process started off fairly well. Chris came over in a timely manner to go over plans, but we didn't really get any official detailed itemized contract. This should have been a red flag. In the process of building there was a huge lack of communication. We understand delays come up but there would be weeks and months at a time where we wouldn't hear anything from Chris, dispite repeatedly trying to reach out to him with status updates. There would be weeks and months when nothing would be done. The framing sat, getting weathered for a couple of months. The garage was finally completed over a year later.
    Once again we understand delays come up but what we really were most upset about was how we were 'ghosted' through most of the process. All we wanted was communication through all this. Not once when Chris would call us back (days/weeks later )did he apologize for not getting back to us. He just continued on like this was normal to not communicate.
    Overall we are happy with how the gargage turned out but if you are looking for a builder to communicate with you through the process, this is not the company.
