      Received a ******* gift card. When attempting to use the card at a SEPHORA store, was told it had a zero balance. The SEPHORA attendant scratched off the PIN before returning the card. When I called SEPHORA, they told me the card had a zero balance and they could not help.

      We do not have any record of **** being a current or former client of Apel Associates; nor have we ever sent gift cards from ******* to anyone for any reason.  We do not have any affiliation with Sephora.  We believe this is a fraudulent complaint.

      **** was hired to complete our tax return for 2021. We submitted all of our information April 1, 2022. We were told that we had to sign an extension form just Incase they couldnt get to our by the 15th but was told thats not very likely. 6 months later our taxes still werent completed despite being mislead. If we would have known they were that far behind we would have gone elsewhere. I contacted **** by phone 2 times asking if they knew when our taxes would be completed and what the price would be. I heard nothing back about price just that they were short staffed. My husband called it! He said they were going to wait until the very last minute to do our taxes despite me asking several months ago to have them done so we didnt lose our insurance! It took them almost 7 months to get to our taxes claiming they were understaffed yet took vacation! They literally waited until just before the extension deadline to be up to do our taxes and they didnt even file them! I called and emailed to please get to my taxes ASAP because I was going to lose my insurance and they didnt get to them until OCTOBER! So either they overloaded themselves despite being short staffed or decided they just didnt care! They saved our taxes until dead last, and sent us a bill for almost double the previous year 960$! Despite me literally providing all the information they needed in an extremely simplistic manner! I literally wrote everything down and spelled it out for **** yet she asked me for forms that I had already submitted she just didnt bother to fully look through my stuff I gave her! Waiting until just before the extension deadline is up to say oh hey by the way you owe us almost double! Pay up or dont have your taxes in on time! *** asked multiple times why my family and friends havent been charged almost double! I also asked for a complete breakdown of charges explaining to me why the cost skyrocketed yet I am ignored and told I need to pay or my bill. They refuse to answer!
