7/9/24 - 7/10/24 I took my 200 Cadillac Seville to Righteous Auto to get a wheel alignment. a week ago. The mechanic said he couldn't do the job because he didn't have the tool to remove the tires. I went to my regular mechanic who removed the wheel locking screws with a screwdriver. He demonstrated how it was done. He and I found it odd that a wheel alignment shop didn't know how to remove tires. When my mechanic (who does not do wheel alignments) removed the locking bolts and the hubcaps I placed them in my trunk with 3 of the bolts (one was kept by my mechanic to make a tool to remove them) I showed the mechanic and the receptionist how the procedure was done. And placed the hubcaps back in my trunk. Telling them to leave them off and just do the wheel alignment. Since they were ignorant of how to take the tires off my Cadillac. On `Thursday July 11th They texted me instead of giving me the usual phone call telling me my car was ready for pick up. When I arrived two of my hubcaps were on the drivers side. But the two on the passengers side were not attached. I looked in my trunk and only found one hubcap and the locking bolt was missing. And so was the 4th hubcap. My Cadillac is a vintage car and it is very important to have the original parts or the value of the vehicle will be reduced. The owner said he would "call around" for the parts. I said where are the original parts my car came with? The company also broke one of my lug nuts off and charged me for the damage they caused to my car. This also decreases the value of my car and I want legal financial compensation. And not replacement parts from a junk yard. These parts are not made by the manufacturer anymore and I am missing the parts due to their negligence. For a wheel alignment job to people who don't know how to remove tires. They said they said they were unable to remove the tires two weeks ago. Now the ************** are missing. Now I'm driving a Cadillac with 2 hubcaps. And no anti theft tire bolt.

Righteous auto did not make me aware of the completely rusted back brackets which hold up the vehicle. As well as a control arm that is completely split in half . I was also told the brake pads were 7s and 6s befor purchasing the vehicle and i had to replace them 2 months after as well as the routers.

The customer and husband came in to talk on issue of broken brackets. I found parts and a business to do it as we do not do this type of work. As we were talking, the husband stated he would go to BBB and slander our name. Which I stated that I do not take threats as bad people make threats. The concern could of easily been worked out as we are high on customer service and we wish them the best on getting their car fix as there was never no intentional wrong doing here. We inspect cars according to WI Buyers Guide. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and wish this family nothing but blessings.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The business is still unwilling to help fix a problem that i should not have after such a short period of me owning this vehicle.  I have 2 young children and this is my only source of transportation and i feel unsafe having to put them in the vehicle due to its condition.  I have never had an issue like this before and after taking my vehicle to multiple places for the issue every place has told me to bring it back to where it was purchased as it should have never been sold in the first place with the brackets so horrible. I am going to have no other option but to proceed with legal action if this issue wont be fixed.  I am willing to take it to the person provided from the owner at Righteous auto but it is not my responsibility to pay for it as it should have never been sold to me like this. It is disappointing i have never had an issue like this before.

The ********* buyers guide was signed as an (AS IS) vehicle. The brackets were not broken when it was sold. With saying that, I already offered to help and was told they had a friend that can do the work and was threatened of slander of the business. With all this I still will offer a $500 check to them and they can get it fixed by their contacts. It can be picked up at our location. Thank you

There was not a threat to slander the buisness, just to communicate with the BBB as i am doing so. Also stated in the ********* Buyers Guide, there was no frame damage to the vehicle i purchased.  Well those brackets were welded onto the frame, making them apart of the frame. (Therefor that is frame damage that should have been fixed before even selling that vehicle). Well Over the weekend the whole back end of my vehicle completely dropped from those brackets so now this an even serious matter. I have talked to a few other dealers about this issue and was informed it is illegal to sell a vehicle in the state mine was in as the brackets were welded to the frame and completely rusted out. I have had this vehicle for less than 6 months.  I have a few options for Righteous auto to resolve this.

    1. I would like a 90%-100% refund for this.

    2. I will give them a chance to fully fix the vehicle.

    3. I will take legal action. I just spent close to $6000 just a few months ago and am now being forced to get another vehicle. I have 2 childeren i cant afford to do this.
    Regards,
