    Order from them multiple times, and each time delay in shipment, or no information on order. Website shows if order on Monday prefer will go out Tuesday for delivery of weds. However time and days come and go with no email nothing from company. Money is charged from bank account however nothing to show with eventually receiving email stating order will be cancelled on such and such date generally a week after placed order.This use to be the company to order from however would look elsewhere for your aquarium needs.

    I sent them six emails and I have every one documented. I am shocked and appalled as to how poor this business has become. I am a 20 years plus customer and have been burned by this entity in the past and decided to give them another try and I have sent numerous messages, stayed on the phone 30 minutes or more several times to be redirected to voicemail and Not once after 7 messages left have I received a return call! Additionally, I asked 4 times over 3 weeks to have this fish sent to my work place to assure early arrival and keeping it warm and it was ignored and shipped to my home location and no one is home until 5pm so I had my daughter leave work early to retrieve fish for nothing on 3/4/25. Additionally, after waiting 3 weeks for them to ship fish, there were at least (5) fifty degree days to get this shipped in decent weather and this facility waited until a 35 degree day to ship this and to top it off, this fish NEVER made it to my home and sat in Kentucky until 3/5/25 and arrived Dead on Arrival. I called twice today and left messages and their lousy staff chose to go home rather than to address this issue and assist with rerouting before the end of the day. I have no words as to how disappointed, disgusted and ignored I am as I see has been the case with many customers. Live Aquaria has become a disgrace to the hobby and industry and I want both a refund and nothing to do with this business EVER again.

    ive been a customer with live aquaria for 15+ years. ive had up to 15 fish tanks running at one time so ive spent thousands of dollars on fish. my problem with them has started recently in the past 2 to 3 years or so. i have set up a 120 gallon reef tank lately and was stocking it periodically with livestock from there website. the past 5 or so orders from them have either been missing stuff, but still being charged for it or the entire order cancelled on me for no reason. i can understand if the species ordered is sick or perishes but for an entire order to be out is just crazy. plus that same order most of the same species were still labeled as in stock on their website. i complained about it to them through an email and they told me some crap about their system will cancel orders held for too long. i ordered those species on black friday to save some money and nothing was shipped from it. meanwhile almost everything was still available to order on the website. whomever is running their website clearly doesn't keep up with their inventory on site at their warehouse. im done ordering from them, they clearly cannot be trusted with any future orders i might have.

    I bought a $100 gift card for my dad on 11/12/24. Electronic delivery, nothing was shipped. Got the receipt instantly. Printed it out, gave to Dad, no problem. Eight days later, the $100 comes out of my account again, overdrafting me severely. I get in a live chat with someone from their company and they basically say ""oh we were having issues with our billing, but do you not watch how you handle your money?" Extremely rude. They then say 'not our fault." I did take screenshots of it. I call (after waiting forever) and was told that the electronic delivery should not have put the hold on my card and that they'll investigate and call me back. She calls me back and says absolutely nothing we can do and was apologizing like that helps. Do NOT use this company, they will charge you twice and blame a hold for it. Eight days later is ridiculous. When you buy something and get a receipt, you BUY IT, especially an electronic gift card that you get INSTANTLY.

    I wrote a review on ****** about the recurring problem I am having with fish dying. I have kept tanks for 30 years, have five tanks currently, and have been a customer for 15 years. Two years ago marine fish that are not captive tend to arrive dead or die within two weeks. I suspect you are sourcing them from somewhere that uses poison to catch them. A common practice in some parts. These two just died and I want a refund.

    DO NOT BUY FISH FROM HERE!I purchased 5 fish from here.experienced aquarist.fish were quarintined.2 fish died within 7 days.sent in the forms for the guarantee and NEVER got a response.Another 2 died soon after.only have 1 left after spending so much money on fish and the insane shipping cost.Also,website clearly states a size range.We purchased bigger fish because if not they would be eaten by the other fish and we received all tiny tiny baby fish forcing them to be quarintined for years had they not all died anyway.BUYER BEWARE!!

    If you are starting a cichlid tank, don't buy a bunch of small juvenile cichlids from Live Aquaria. It can be a c*** shoot as to what all species you'll end up with. All fish arrived ok and relatively healthy on order of 16 fish, but as they matured it became increasingly apparent that at least 30 to 40 percent of my order are tough to identify as being what I picked. For the most part they only have 3/4 to 1 1/2" juvenile fish, many of which are nearly impossible to confirm correct fish sent. By the time they are big enough to confirm many months have passed. There are a number of reputable online cichlid suppliers that will send you species you can count on as being what you bought.

    Buyer Beware - If there were negative stars, this company would deserve them. They don't care about the welfare of their animals at all. All my fish were shipped from CALIFORNIA, overnight FedEx and DOA. Based on the smell alone, I'd say they were dead at shipping time. No compensation of any kind, their claims process is a joke. They are advertising something they cannot deliver and they don't care because they keep the money regardless. Total FRAUDS!

    Placed an order at in January and never received it, contacted them and they won’t refund money just in store credit. I will never order from them again.

    Horrible can't wait to buy from I called to let them know that my fish were dying I spent $150 for Christmas for fish for my grandchildren and an already established aquarium with fish and them. All the fish from live aquaria has died I was able to finally contact someone on the phone that must have been working from home because I could not hear her from her dog's barking in the background. The woman was very rude and ended up hanging up on me. So much for the gifts that I bought for my grandchildren for Christmas how do you explain to a kid that all the fish died that you bought for them but their old fish are still alive. Buyer beware stay away from this company..
