      I purchased the vehicle in December of ************************************************************************* gear and was taken to *********************************************** (Link) for assessment after requiring a tow. The problem was unresolved and recurred in May of 2022, again a tow was required, and no definitive cause could be identified. This pattern continued and I remitted all deductibles and labor costs. The **** and ignition were replaced but failed to address the problem. In March of 2024, the vehicle was returned to Link again due to the non-starting issue and was kept for a week by Link without resolution.I engaged in efforts to resolve this matter and despite numerous calls to other dealerships including *** ****** and ***********, *******, as well as complaints to Link and directly to *******.The only solution which was offered was replacement of the Body Control Module, (***), by Link which did not guarantee a resolution. I was advised by the service manager at ******************* that there is a fifty percent likelihood that the *** replacement will solve the issue,and noted there is a possibility that a ground wire, which could not be located, may be the actual culprit.Upon reviewing a Carfax report, she discovered that at ****** miles, while under the ownership of the dealer, there were other matters related to electrical issues found with the vehicle, which were not disclosed at the time of purchase. These issues included the lift gate and wiper motor operation.Despite these ongoing issues, **** has been unable to repair the vehicle or offer any viable alternatives. I reported that since the most recent return from Link, the vehicle has continued to exhibit intermittent starting issues, which have been well documented. Additionally, the wipers have been observed to spontaneously activate, again signaling serious electrical malfunctions which have yet to be properly identified.I am left with a vehicle which cannot be reliably driven.

      To whom it may concern:


      Said ******* Aviator has been brought to ********* and RV LLC in ********* on multiple occasions all to find the same result.  (Unable to duplicate the concern ran a self-test and had no DTCS related to the concern. Ran oasis again to see if there were any new TSBS and there were not. Checked GTAC again for any new related cases with none found. Reached out to my FSE and was advised to check and update the PCM/*** if available.  Our regions FSE is ***************************.  ***** is our regions field service engineer).


      Said ******* Aviator is equipped with rain sensing windshield wipers that detects moisture on the windshield.  The rain-sensing windshield wiper system can be disabled.


      *******s next recommended step is to replace the *** (body control module) and ******* has approved the work and costs to be covered under warranty.  ********************* is asked to pay her $100.00 deductible plus Wisconsin sales tax and ********* and RV LLC has agreed to pay this cost/charge.


      *************************** lead, ******, ******** & ****, *** has been hired by ********************* and have sent a letter to ********* and RV LLC and ******* Dispute Resolution team stating the following:


      In order to resolve this matter *************** is willing to accept either of the following resolutions:
      1. Replacement of the *** and an extension of the bumper-to-bumper warranty for one year, or
      2. A buy back of the vehicle at $39,000.00. This was addressed by ********************** attorney at law.


      *******/Ford ************* has retained the office of ****** Law and *************************** to add in the progress of ***************** request.


      At this time, we are informed that said 2020 ******* Aviator has not been diagnosed on site by the following dealerships at Eau *************************** and Bloomington ******* for a second diagnoses to add *************** concerns.


      Currently ********* and RV LLC is awaiting direction for *******/Ford ************* and the retained office of ******* ********** for direction in this matter.

      Thank you for your response. Link **** and ************** Lake LLC and *******/**** Motor Company do recommend seeking a second physical diagnosis for ***************** ******* Aviator concerns at another ******* Franchise Dealership.  Link **** and RV LLC Rice Lake LLC is currently awaiting guidance from *********************** (Consumer Affairs Legal Analyst at **** Motor Company) for direction.
