  **** *…******* Been using Pratt for 3 years to clean chimney in my log cabin in *******. Today 12/15/23 they installed a stainless steel 10’’ tubular liner in the chimney after finding cracks in all the flue tiles, which they showed me via photos they took while I stood next to them . Tech guys Ethan and Kyler and Austin were good workmen, knew their craft, and finished the jobs efficiently. And cleaned up too. Not cheap, not outrageous prices…I felt I got very good quality work at a decent price. Glad to give Pratt two thumbs up along with 5 stars.

  We decided to use Pratt's to install a gas insert into our existing fireplace. While the initial appointment for our quote went well, and the tech was very responsive with emailing the information, communication became lacking after that. The tech had said in his email we would receive a pdf from the office and we needed to sign it and send it back with our deposit. We never received any communication from the office, so I simply signed the quote that I had gotten from the tech and sent that in. We never received any kind of reciept for the down payment. A week and half later we got a call from the office and scheduled the install date. I heard nothing back from Pratt's and we prepared for the install. We never got a text or email or phone call to verify the date and time. The morning of install no one had showed by 9:15 so I called and the office confirmed they were coming. The install was a comedy of errors, but it was completed. Two days later, my wife said she smelled gas in the basement. While the odor was feint it was present. WE energies was contacted and found a small leak and said the installers must have accidently cracked a supply pipe. Gas was turned off. It is now 11:17am and a tech was supposed to come "this morning" to address the issue. No show and no communication so far. No hot water for the second day.

  Tyler **** did a great job of replacing my fireplace damper and putting in a new liner for the fireplace and appliance flue. They will need to come back to do waterproofing to chimney due to rain coming tonight. I would highly recommend Pratt Chimney and especially Tyler ****. Tyler was very good at explaining everything when he came originally to give me an estimate and he was not pushy. I had several estimates, but they were the best.
