Restaurant purposely avoids putting all the information on their website to scam customers. A family member invited a group of us to Nordic Lounge (the people booking have been there before - some of us havent) We asked what it was like and they directed us to their website. I reviewed their website and our group leader asked if its something we want to do and we agreed. Unfortunately, something came up and two of us couldnt make it. I reached out to the restaurant to cancel our portion to be told it is non-refundable. NOWHERE on their website has the information that it is non refundable. When I asked if its on the website the person I spoke to said no, its only on the screen when whoever is booking makes the reservation. If someone has no knowledge of a nonrefundable rule and is not making the reservation they dont know that they will be locked into this no matter what. This is a very shady way to do business and scam customers. The person I spoke to said people need to think of it as buying concert tickets. When asked is this a restaurant or an event, he said just a restaurant. I feel they should be required to divulge this information to unsuspecting patrons on their website just in case they are not the ones who are making the reservations. Very poor and sneaky way to do business.

On May 27, 2022, I phoned the Nordic Lodge ( **************************************************************** Phone: ************) to reserve a room for June 27, 2022. I explained to ******** at Nordic Lodge that neither my wife nor I could climb stairs. ******** stated they had a 1st floor room available for June 27, and I told her to reserve it. When we arrived on June 27 they had reserved a 2nd floor room. They stated that there were no 1st floor rooms available. We told them we could not rent the 2nd floor room, and they said they would refund the $107.83 back to our credit card. We found a different hotel and stayed there. After several calls to the Nordic Lodge we have not received a refund.
