      Husband wanted to surprise me with a beautiful latch hook Phoenix kit. He ordered it not knowing the post office would reject it for the post office box. He called Herrschners who told him they would resend it back to our house as it got sent back by the post office. Husband spent nearly $143, suddenly got a refund of $82.82... Herrschners Stole $60! Far more than shipping or 20% restocking fee! Why were we charged that anyway?! Husband mentioned customer service wasn't very helpful and I'm not sure he's called again yet. wishing I had the company first. Terrible reviews everywhere.

      I have been a customer for many years. I had a delivery of a skein of yarn go astray. Customer service person that I spoke to refused to make it right, saying, "This is not a crisis." I make 12 lapghans for charity every year and they are due at the end of this month. So yes ma'am, it is a crisis to me, which should be your only concern as a 'customer service' person. They have basically stolen my money for yarn and shipping and refuse to send me another skein.

      On 11/24/23 a replacement skein of yarn (Premier Everyday DK - Really Red) was entered at no charge. This replacement order will ship 11/27/23.  We would NEVER tell a customer that it is not a crisis.  I will listen to the recorded call to hear how the customer was speaking to our representative and how we responded.  When a package shows delivered to the correct address from the shipping carrier we have to look into this first before we jump at the customers' demands.
