I wish I had never hired Gorilla Movers! Two pieces of furniture were damaged, one of them a prized antique, and when I complained I was told that the damage could not have been caused by the movers when I KNOW that the table in question was in pristine condition before the move and had 3 damaged legs after the move. There were also deep scratches on the top of an expensive maple desk. In addition to the damages, MANY boxes were placed in the wrong rooms: there were kitchen boxes in the basement and "master bedroom" boxes in the den. I am now opening XL boxes with clothes and bedding and having to schlep the stuff upstairs armload by armload. It will take months of inspecting boxes to discover where everything is and move it to the right room.The "customer service" contact person who I spoke with to receive compensation for the damaged furniture insisted that Gorilla's movers could not have caused the damage when I KNOW that the damage was NOT there prior to the move. I cannot adequately express how dissatisfied and angry I am, both at how the move went and especially for being "blown off" when I complained about the damaged furniture.
