    June 11, 2024 I visited Eye Wisconsin with two pairs of glasses that I purchased from an outside vendor with a copy of my prescription to have the lenses replaced with my prescription. In addition to having my prescription added to the lenses, I purchased additional tint on each set and paid $438 for the lenses and tint. The primary staff person I worked with is *********. I was told that the glasses should be ready in two weeks. I was called to return to the store because a s**** had been lost. I was called several times to return to pick up the glasses, and was informed that it was miscommunication and the glasses were not available for pick up. Finally, on Tuesday, 6/25, one pair was available for pick up, and they did not have the additional tint I paid for. Between June 25 and July 15, I had been advised the other glasses were ready and they were not ready. Finally, on July 15, I was told I would be issued a partial refund and that the lab was putting the "finishing touches on my glasses" and they would be ready the following Wednesday. When my wife called to finalize the return and confirm the date the frames would be ready, she was informed that no work had been done to the glasses. When we went to pick up the glasses, we were surprised to see the glasses were actually damaged with an aftermarket s**** lodged in which damaged the lenses. No consultation or apology was provided.

    The claim made is untruthful.  There was a delay in the job as our lab (located in ******, **) had a breakage in the frame.  

    We paid for the broken frame replacement part, as well as provided the customer a $200 refund for the extended time required to complete the job.

    Additionally, this customer attempted to be untruthful and state that the eyeglass frame in question was worth $2,400, and requested a refund from our office in that amount rather than for us to pay for the replacement part. 

    We were very accomodating and patient with this individual and unfortunately this is not an individual looking for resolution.
