  High pressure sales tactics Everyone knows the advice for any construction project is to get a minimum of 3 bids to make sure you are getting a fair price from knowledgeable contractors. This company attempts to circumvent the market by sending out salesmen instead of estimators. I felt like I was being asked to buy a vacuum cleaner or used car. Good thing I wasn't born yesterday. We were working with an insurance company and needed a quote to submit to insurance. T_ler said they'll give you a couple thousand dollars but not enough to cover the job. Refused to provide us anything in writing despite being kindly requested to do so multiple times. We don't do that he said. We want to know we are working with someone before we start dealing with insurance. That was not what we asked for! I experienced the same nonsense other 1 star reviewers did here. It is a very poor business practice, but it must work on some people because I see the trucks everywhere. I feel sorry for the folks this company preys upon.

  High pressure sales tactics. Will not leave the household or give you time to think about it. The sales rep also would drop the price on the quote if you leave a good review on BBB and give you a $100 gift card if leaving a good review on Google. After telling the salesman I just needed the night to think on it he refused my answer. Company wants you to sign the contract the day of the estimate and threatens to add $350 onto the estimate for him to come back the next day to sign the contract. My sister had stopped by and was so offended by the way the salesman was talking that she had to leave my house. After he FINALLY left the premise the next day I was contacted and was told he had way over quoted me. I do not know how a company can give so many different quotes on the same work. First 18 month quote was 54,000 then got dropped down to 41,000 immediately. Salesman then got it down to 39,500 and the next day it was down to 23,000. I am sure the workers behind the projects do good work but I would be very careful on the great reviews when a company will drop pricing if you give a favorable review.

  We recently chose Hip and Ridge Construction to re roof our home. They followed up immediately when we contacted them. They were able to come out give us an estimate the very next day. Their representative had samples of the roofing and materials they used. She explained their warranty on materials and workmanship and gave us an estimate . We signed the contract and gave them a deposit. She said there was about a two week lead time. They came out as scheduled and were able to complete the job in one day. We were very pleased with the workmanship and cleanup after the job was completed. .
