      Charged my family a cancellation fee for an order they accepted outside their delivery zone they were unable to place in the correct area. Argued with us, disparaged us on social media. Worked with many florists and small businesses over the years, so far this is the worst.

      It saddens us to see this party continue to be so dishonest. Our store has never had contact with the person indicated on the reviewers email address, but did receive an order from their wife through our website.We have never disparaged any person on social media. Our business repeatedly responded to this person's false reports of mishandling, because they have spread these false reports across multiple platforms.Not one thing about our customer service was poor. In fact we were in regular communication with this customer, and took every possible step to ensure that her order would be fulfilled.Our store has this CLEARLY listed on every single page of the website, so there is no way to mistake our location:Sussex Country Floral Shoppe N63 W23811 ******** Sussex, WI ***** ************** Our store currently stocks the item ordered by his wife, and it was available at the time of delivery. Any comment saying we do not, or did not, have the item available is false. The specific container was a **** Pickup and we have several, because it is popular.There is no error on the floral shop website. There is simply no way that a Wisconsin florist could ever guarantee that every other florist will stock the exact same items.His wife entered her order and requested delivery in the state of ***********. Nothing we can do can stop the customer from entering this out-of-state information, if they so choose.However and as further evidence that our website worked as expected, this order was charged an additional fee of $20, and that covers the additional time and effort required to locate the out-of-state florist on her behalf. His wife approved this extra fee on the order confirmation screen.We made 3 attempts to find a florist with the selected item, in ***********. Our search for this out-of-state florist failed to locate a Connecticut store with her requested item, so we sent her texts and emails to say this.In those texts we also asked if she would accept an alternative item.We offered to continue our search for the item in ***********, but his wife refused and then cancelled the order. By her own words, we stopped searching for a Connecticut florist on her behalf. In fact, his wife told us to cancel the order three times.We have a copy of the entire texting conversation with his wife. At 8:35am today she accepted the cancellation fee by texting us to say, "Charge me your $11.95 and cancel the order." It wasn't until 9 hours later that she chose to complain about the terms on the website, and finally at 5:48pm said "I no longer agree to the fee."Our store cancellation policy is CLEARLY stated on every single page of the website: "Order cancellations will be subject to $11.95 processing fee."
