      I needed my LP tank filled for heat we've been customers of gasco for years, we've signed contracts with them in prior years to lock in prices for winter so when the prices go up our price won't go over the capped contracted price and have always had great service, they have always charged the current prices and raised them as the gas prices go up and then cap off at the contracted price..however this year they seem to think it's ok to just charge the capped off price and not honor the price they advertise online.. current price online is $1.94.9 per gal when I ordered so could get that price and ordered them to fill the tank, but when I got my bill they charged me $2.29.9 per gallon which is a great deal more than what I agreed to when I placed the order online, current price for them still shows $1.94.9 we called to straighten this out and they just said we have a contract and hung up on us 2x...this is bait and switch practices and I believe this is illegal, please help me resolve this cause their just going to keep ripping people off till someone puts a stop to it...I have screenshots of their website prices and the bill...times are hard enough without everyone trying to rip you off and take advantage everywhere you turn.

      Dear Better Business Bureau, 

      Our contracts are very straightforward. 
      They are offered to our customers as a means to secure a firm price for the winter and avoid the occurrence of drastic increases to the price of propane.

      At no point in time has our Company ever offered the type of contract that ******************* is alluding to.
      For purposes of clarity, Ms. ********* signed copy of the contract she agreed to is attached.
      We are selling ******************** the gallons she contracted for with us at the agreed upon rate of $2.299 a gallon.
      A rate that ******************** was no doubt well aware of when she executed the contract. 

      Fixed or guaranteed price contracts for propane are based on the rate at which we can secure propane for delivery at a future date.
      This type of supply contract carries a premium as compared to an open or currentrate price contract.
      When a consumer secures propane at a fixed rate for future delivery we, in turn,enter into a contract with our supplier and purchase those gallons for future deliver
      We are legally obligated to take delivery of the gallons *********** for and face severe financial penalties should we fail to take delivery.

      Our contract with ******************** specifically states: Requests by the Consumer for off contract or current rate deliveries during the contract period are not allowed. 
      Unfortunately,we are unable to honor Ms ********* request to be invoiced at a rate other than her contracted rate.

      We did not force ******************** to enter into a fixed price contract for winter delivery. 
      ******************* seems to be of the belief that she is entitled to the best of both worlds.
      She cannot simultaneously contract for gallons at a secured price for the winter while expecting to be invoiced at our open/current rate should she so choose.
      Our contract is quite specific in that regard.
