  We had been having issues with our floor drain backing up for a couple of weeks. Nothing we tried helped! Called ABC yesterday. They gave us an appointment for 9:00 this morning. Cam showed up on time and within 15 minutes of setting up equipment he had the lateral opened and flowing freely! Evidently roots had started causing blockage. Cam was very courteous and professional! Very reasonable pricing! Will definitely use ABC again!

  Service was requested to unclog a kitchen sink drain. The technician (Dikota) was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. After resloving the problem he offered some mantenance suggestions to help keep the drains clean to prevent future problems. I was extremely pleased with his service perspective.   An appointment was made by phone with a quoted price for the sewer cleanout I needed. The appointment was kept promptly, and my sewer problem was remedied quickly (less than an hour), efficiently and neatly by just one knowledgeable, friendly and very qualified technician. The cost was exactly as quoted. I would not hesitate to use this service again when needed. Very satisfied.

  Field person was great. An office staff woman, was arrogant, not empathetic and reluctant to escalate our issue to someone above her. She backed up her arrogance with her "30 years of experience", apparently that means she's right in every situation with every customer. Owner said our pipes were damaged a hazard despite the plumber saying we had no damage and mentioned nothing about a hazard. He also voided our 30-day warranty despite it being WRITTEN on our receipt. He then indicated if his equipment was damaged on our pipes we would have to pay a 500$ fee to replace it. If an arborist damages his chainsaw on a tree is the customer liable for that?

  ***, I spoke with your wife over the phone yesterday. We do between 50 and 75 jobs in a typical day and we DO know a lot about drain cleaning. What I explained to your wife is that we do not offer a discount for repeat customers and that there are a variety of reasons for that. In your case our technicians believe that there is an issue with your sewer lateral that will cause the problem to recur. The condition can also cause our sewer cable to become stuck in the lateral. If that occurs it can result in a damaged cable which costs in excess of $500. It also puts our workers at risk of injury when trying to remove said cable. We have seen this situation many times over the years and the best solution is to replace the lateral. Unfortunately that is an expensive proposition, but I did refer your wife to a company that could provide an estimate for that type of work. I wish I didnt have to be the bearer of bad news but I believe its best to let the customer know what theyre dealing with. I stand by our assessment and would hope you reconsider your review.

  My upper bathroom sink drain in my condo was often draining slow or not at all. Sometimes I could fix it with a mini-plunger, this time I could not. Going into the pipe under the sink meant forcing the auger or snake to make a 90 degree turn after going 3 feet into the pipe, which is tricky. Plumbers in other condos had missed the turn and broken through the trap under the neighboring condo's sink & caused damage. So before calling ABC, I had checked the library & City Hall for some kind of plumbing diagram, as I was sure there had to be a cleanout access, where a 90 degree turn would not be required. But no one had the info I was looking for. In comes Brett from ABC. Initially, he was confident that he could catch that 90 degree turn and clear the clog, but then he looked up at the bathroom wall and declared that it would not be necessary. He was positive that a pipe end cap sticking out of my bathroom wall was the cleanout I was looking for. And he was right! Other plumbers had told me that the end cap was part of the vent stack for the toilet, Brett knew better. He was easily able to snake the drain and clear the clog quickly using the clean out. I feel his experience & skill were worth the money.
