I went to Elite Key on October 27, 2023 to have a replacement key made for my 2011 Jeep.,The owner, ***************************, made the key and it started the car. The next morning I tried to start the car with that key. It would turn over and eventually start but it would die like it is starving for gas. I tried the original key I got when I purchased the car. It started right up and ran great. After the car was warm I tried the replacement key and it would start and ran fine. I went back to Elite Key and told **** the problem. He said it was impossible for that to be an issue with the key and there was something wrong with the car. I asked him to call the key manufacturer and see if there was something they could recommend. He refused. I took the car in to my regular automotive technician. He kept it over night, and the next morning same thing happened with the replacement key. He ran a on board computer diagnostic and two codes showed up: P0513m(invalid key) and B1A25 (invalid key). They cleared the codes and performed programming for the key. It came back that the key was already programed incorrectly or is defective. I went back to Eiite Key today, December 7, 2023. ***** refused to look at the invoice from ******************* with the codes and the programming note. He told me he would not give me a refund I told him I didn't want refund, I wanted a key that works. I never told him I wanted a refund. He told me he wasn't going to do anything and I had to leave. When I kept talking to him he told me he was going to call the police, I told him to call. He then pushed me towards the door (it wasn't very hard but he did push me). He started walking outside with my key and again told me if the car starts it's the car. I told him once again that the car will start because it is warm. He took my key and threw it and hit my car. I said to him "did you just hit my car"? He ran over picked up the key and went in the car and started it. Then told me once again I had to leave. At this point he was obviously becoming irrational and I was afraid that this was going to escalate So I left. I checked the codes with Quadratec and the codes were verified as to what the auto shop had given me. At this point due to my lack of confidence in Elite Key, and a real concern and fear that **** will become much more physical and hurt me (I am 72) or damage my car, I am requesting a refund of $145.73 $81.37 for the key and $64.36 the charge from the automotive shop
