    I usually do not write reviews. Today I do..I took my car to another place to get a quote I walked out with a list a mile long and was shocked at their charges. I Took my car to Kaestner and they where honest and told me most of the work did not have to be done. They did my brakes and actually called me twice for updates. Having a good mechanic is priceless. Thank you for your honestly and decent prices. Thank you Nate for the great customer service and communication. I will be letting others know of the A+ service I recieved.

    I bought a new starter motor in July for $200 and gave my old started plus a second as cores. Shortly after the Solenoid would not disengage and the starter quit. I took it out of the car (an '80 911) and returned it to Kaestner. I was told it had to go back to the manufacturer. No word, and several calls. TODAY 11/7/2023, I returned with the receipt, was told I burnt the motor out-not my fault and asked for my money back. Bottom line, I WAS MADE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $1.54 tax or some such; TO GET MY CASH $200 BACK AND NOTHING FOR TWO CORES (usually worth $50 per). Same starter without a core was $150.00 at AUTOZONE.Very shabby treatment by management.
