    Purchased chair on 11/10/24 out of pocket after following procedures for FSA/HRA/*** on business website. *** denied this and per the business website they have a no risk guarantee that refund will be issued no questions asked. When letting company know about denial they simply told me to return the chair. I have reviewed entire site and couldnt find anywhere where a return of the chair was required as they were guaranteeing covered or they would refund. I found the entire situation an avoidance of their use of this marketing and sales tactic simply to avoid fulfilling their **************** continues to say they will do better and have learned from this, but still wont honor how they have things currently displayed.I think consumers who are attempting to get this chair covered should all know about this deceptive marketing and sales practice from the company so this doesnt happen again.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    At the time of purchase no indication on company website, terms and conditions, or otherwise was it stated a return was required. Company to provide full refund of chair without return per the If reimbursement is denied, Anthros will give you a refund, no questions asked. policy shown on site at time of purchase and provided to BBB and FTC.

    Company had amended at this time to clearly state return of chair is required on their website, but this transaction does not fall under these updates terms.

    Hello,

    Regarding complaint ID ********, ******* ******* has reiterated the same complaint for the second time.  ******* is requesting that he should keep a $2000 office chair that he purchased and get a 100% refund which makes no sense at all.  Even the BBB representative that I spoke to agree with me that this is an unreasonable request and any company would be out of business if they gave away products for free.  As previously stated, Anthros is happy to give a 100% rebate to ******* as soon as the product is returned in good condition.  ******* is intentionally misinterpreting the language on our website and looking for a free ride.  If ******* is not happy with the chair, why would he want to keep it.  Anthros sell a top notch high end product and offers exceptional customer service, our customers and hundreds of reviews speak for themselves.
