    On 4/26/24, I called Lice Clinics of America to make a lice check appointment for my daughter, for whom I have a monthly membership for. The membership includes 2 lice checks free of charge every month, no deposit necessary. The women told me they are now making everyone pay $10 for the reservation and I would have it refunded when I arrive at the appoint. When I took my daughter in on 4/27/24, the employee stated that I should not have been charged since I have a monthly membership, and that she had tried to contact her boss as he was the only one who could do a refund, but he didn't answer. She said he would refund it. After a week went by and no refund had been made, I contacted the clinic again, and the receptionist said that no one at the company could help me, only the owner, *****************************, but there is not way for me to reach him. She would send him a message. While I was on the phone with her, I also asked to cancel my monthly membership. She said she can't do that, only the owner can. Five business days later, I haven't heard from the owner, I have not received a refund, and now the company has taken another $8.95 from me for the monthly membership I tried to cancel prior to the renewal. No one has contacted me by phone, or email.

    Thank you for reaching out.  We did receive a request from ************************* to refund the payment she was charged for her monthly membership in the month of May.  That was processed for $8.95 on May 16, 2024 on the card she placed on file.  There was a misunderstanding that she also wanted a refund for her deposit of $10. That remained on her account with ******************** as a credit.  Today, we have processed a refund for that charge.  Copies of both refunds are attached.  Thank you for your assistance clearing up this matter.
