    BEWARE OF UNSAFE EQUIPMENT IN THE FACILITY We had our dog at doggy daycare on Friday, April 12th. I received a call just before 3pm that our dog had an injury that might need stitches. When I talked to them, they made it sound like it was a little cut. When I picked up our dog (just before 3:30pm), she had a gaping wound with skin hanging down under her front arm pit that needed stitches. Our vet was not able to fit her in. We had to go to a walk-in clinic so after 10 stitches and paying $900 out of pocket we still dont have an answer of how this happened. The vet told us the injury was not from a dog fight since she did not have puncture wounds and would likely have other injuries. She believes (we do as well) our dog somehow got caught on something jumping up or down. I called Saturday morning to talk to the owner to pass the info that the vet told me so that to they can check their equipment etc so no other dogs get injured. The lady I talked to told me they werent sure how it happened or when it happened after reviewing their cameras. I was told the same thing when I picked her up. I told her we were shocked that no one heard her in distress when it happened. There is no way she was quiet because it was like her skin peeled off her in a v shape. We wont be going back there.
