      I signed up for one of their mega draft tournaments. I contracted COVID and a stomach bug and was no I get able to attend. They are refusing to refund me the money I paid, even though I can no longer attend due to illness.

      NEW YEARS MEGA DRAFT

      I understand that this paid entry into the **** Spiderz New Years Mega Draft Softball Tournament is 100% non-refundable, non-transferable and all sales final. In the event you cannot make the New Years Mega Draft after payment has been made and before Live Draft Day (October 12th, 2023), Spiderz (in an act of good faith) will try to find someone off the waiting list to take your spot. If we find someone, well refund all monies paid by you for registration fee to Spiderz LESS a $30 administration fee. You may not sell or transfer your spot by your own efforts. If you back out after Live Draft Day or after October 12th, 2023 (whichever comes first) through December 22nd, 2023,  you will receive a refund LESS $120 (Jersey Fee) and LESS any optional add-on purchases ordered such as Official Tournament & Companion Jerseys, and well ship you your (2) custom full dye team jerseys and optional add on pieces approximately ***** business days after the tournament has been completed. If you back out after December 22nd, 2023 youll receive no refund and well ship you your uniform package LESS the Hat approximately ***** business days after the tournament has been completed. You agree to not hold Spiderz Sports or any of its employees or agents liable for any harm or injury while playing or spectating at the 2023 Spiderz New Years Mega Draft. Spiderz Sports has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for fighting, player discrimination and foul language during our events. Spiderz Sports reserves the right to Permanently Eject any player or spectator from the tournament and grounds at any time for violating this policy, with no refund of any monies paid. You also agree to be present at all games your team has scheduled during the 2023 Spiderz New Years Mega Draft tournament. In the event of a 2023 Spiderz New Years Mega Draft tournament cancellation anytime between 12:01am October 13th, 2023 and 11:59pm December 31st, 2023, the registered participant agrees to accept the event Uniform Package that was custom made for the participant, as Services/Products Rendered In Full and no refunds given. Furthermore, if the event is canceled BEFORE the scheduled uniform pickup date of December 28th, 2023, Spiderz will ship complete Uniform Package to participant via **** Priority or *** Ground by no later than a postmark date of Friday January 12th, **** with all shipping costs paid for by Spiderz. If the event is canceled BEFORE the 1st pitch of the 1st game on the scheduled start date of January 29th , 2023, Spiderz will distribute all tournament prizes/awards via Random Drawing Giveaways and Contests on Spiderz Mega ******************** via ******** Live to registered participants of the 2023 Spiderz New Years Mega Draft by no later than Friday January 12th, ****. If the tournament is cancelled after the 1st pitch of the 1st game on the scheduled start date of January 29th, 2023, and before the end of the Play-In Game Round, Spiderz will distribute all tournament prizes/awards via Random Drawing Giveaways and Contests on Spiderz Mega ******************** via ******** Live to registered participants of the 2023 Spiderz New Years Mega Draft by no later than Friday January 12th, ****. If the tournament is cancelled after the completion of the Play-In Game Round(s), Spiderz will distribute all tournament prizes/awards via the tournament directors discretion. Tournament director reserves all rights to modify any game to a 1-pitch format, eliminate play-in game round, eliminate Dog-House Bracket, eliminate Loser Bracket, eliminate 4 game guarantee format, modify time limit(s), in the event of time constraints due to Weather or Random Acts of God. Any Player Registration Cancellations or Drops before October 12th, 2023 are subject to a $30 Administration Fee. Absolutely NO REFUNDS of any amount after December 22nd, 2023.       I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      This business was able to find a replacement. Therefore, they are keeping my money in addition to someone elses money. I realize the terms and conditions, however given this is due to illness and not choice the respectable thing to do would be to refund my money. They would not be out any money since they found someone to fill my spot. At this point they are being greedy and unreasonable. This is a significant amount of money that I am losing out on, and they are ending up profiting off of this. It is unfair and just plain wrong.
