    I decided to hire a company to fix the water problem in our basement. The walls were also crooked. I hired Everdry Waterproofing. They said they would fix the water problem, straighten the walls with beams, grade around the outside of the house, and add new top soil where needed. They began work on Feb. 5 and finished on Feb. 19. I wrote them a check for the balance which was $58,620.00 While working on the back walls they hit a water pipe and cut our cable line. Because of this mishap, they had to dig up much more of our backyard. They also damaged some of my lawn in the front and side as well as the neighbors yard. Several weeks passed and I did not hear from them when they were coming to complete the outside work. We were also getting water in our basement again. I went to their business to set up a date for them to fix the water problem and complete the work on my lawn. They set up two dates for the work: May 22 and May 30. On May ************************************ the basement and the outside work. He gave me new date on June 7 for all the work to be completed. On June 7 a crew arrived at approximately 7:45 and left at approximately 9:15. They did some work in the basement, but did very little to the outside. They also had no topsoil with them.

    Everdry had completed the initial project on 02/14/2024. Everdry was unable to do top soil at that time due to the weather. Everdry scheduled **************** to get service work and top soil done on June 7th, 2024. Due to the rain and weather at that time, we were unable to complete the service work. We had rescheduled the date to July 1st, 2024 as soon as we found out the weather didnt permit us to complete the service work.

    The work that was contracted for the ****** was very extensive, and required Excavators, skid loaders and dump truck to access the yard. The work was done in February of this year, the ground was froze solid during the repair, due to the nature of our work we perform the cable line was damaged during the Major Excavation of the property, once discovered we had it repaired immediately at our cost, also during the major excavation of The ****** "crooked Walls" the water main line was damaged and again once discovered we had the line repaired, we dug the already exposed damage portion out and then dug the rest of the line to the main so we could replace it all coper since it was a lead line, We dug the line to the main at no cost to the homeowner, because of the waterline repair we also paid to put the ****** up in a hotel of there choose till it was repaired. All of the repairs were done prior to the project being finished  and us asking for any type of payment. We did ask the ****** to allow some time for the dirt in the areas in which we performed the excavation to un thaw and settle, and informed the ****** we would return in the spring to address the areas that we performed the work, we did not contract with the ****** to do grading around there entire  property just the areas contracted next to the home. Because of the wet spring and the fact that we need a back hoe, and skid loader to finish the grading we set a dates of May 30th the May 22nd date was to prepare for the 30th date, the 30th of May got rained out, we set another set of days in June 7th and 8th those day were also rained out, However we did address the concerns about seepage inside in June. At the June 6th and 7th service date we gave the ****** a new date of July 1 weather pending to complete the repair of the yard (top soil, and seed) in the area we performed work. That day is coming up and we will do our best to get the yard back into shape. The weather this year has not been corporative and has delayed the remaining touchups of the project.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. 
    I accept the response they gave with two alterations.  First, they did not immediately take care of the cable I did.  It also took 6 days to completely repair the water pipe. I also feel that they should grade the entire back yard where they had to dig because of the broken water pipe.

    Damages to my property including Piling dirt above the siding permanently staining it. Also leaving tar on siding Damaging two downspouts Cracking two 2 x 4s and tryin to fix one by nailing it Cement work is not level. Not even close They left an area by the furnace without cement. They damaged trim work. One piece of trim is missing Although I was told to remove caulk from cracks in the wall and they would do the tuckpointing correctly, the did about half and then put caulk right back in the rest. They left hundreds of stones in my yard. They damaged the existing basement door. They got cement all over the walls The broke my patio blocks On 2 occasions, I woke in the middle of the night very cold only to discover they had turned off the furnace and I couldnt fall back to sleep. They also turned the hot water heater off. I had to wait for hours to get enough hot water to shower.
