      I visited the Waukesha location of Bay View Shade & Blind for the first time today because they were listed as one of two local dealers for Somfy, the wireless automatic control system I have for our Grabor blinds. One of the motors for our 10 year-old Somfy/Grabor system was no longer responding properly and I feared I would need to spend an arm and a leg to replace if it couldn't be re-programmed to factory settings. I also needed various brackets and parts for my ten year old system that I had jerry-rigged to keep it operating as my original blinds dealer provided no support for the system. When I arrived at the Waukesha location I asked for someone from their service support and I was surprised to later find out that Daniel, the gentlemen who assisted me, was one of the owners. He tried his best to reprogram the balky motor with no luck but he indicated he would check their inventory to see if they had a replacement part that would work for this ten year old motor. After spending a good 20 minutes hunting through their parts system he found a motor that would work that they had used for demo purposes. He also found the various brackets and parts I needed to get my system back to original condition and allow me to eliminate all the jerry-rigging I had been using. Daniel never asked if I had bought our blinds and wireless system from them (I hadn't) but simply put forth a great amount of effort to solve my problems. Because the replacement motor he found was from an old demo model, he said there would be no charge. Needless to say I was amazed at this level of customer service. Their professionalism was amazing. Somfy is very fortunate to have them as one of their dealers! Daniel has made us a customer for life! When we finally need to replace our blinds we will certainly call on Bay View Shade
