We had 2 Provia doors installed today by Daimon *. and Antne ** They were very professional, friendly and skilled. They had answers for all our questions, did a very nice job, and the doors look great !! Thank you so much ! We also appreciate their work in cold temps today in ******* !!Waunakee Remodeling, Inc.

Becky and John With this job, Waunakee Remodeling has replaced all the doors and windows in our house, as well as roof and siding. Everything has been great, and we are very pleased with how they stand behind their work. 5 starsWe recently had all of our windows replaced by ************, ******, and **************** We are Seniors who have had occasion to have many projects completed over the years. Never have we had a crew that worked more quickly and efficiently than ******************** and ******. Despite not having much space for their tools and extremely cold temperatures that would cause anyone concern, they finished in three days as planned. ***** was friendly and fun but never stopped working. The other two were more quiet and did most of the work from the outside. They worked as a team and the results were wonderful. We are so pleased with our new windows and would recommend your company and this crew to anyone who would listen. They well deserve a bonus reward. *** and *************************Review fromChris

1 starWe had them replace our patio door with a custom (expensive) Andersen door.
We will never hire Waunakee Remodeling to do any work for us ever again. We expected and expressed to them, at the time of hiring them, that there was rot in the framing under the door. There was, and still is, rot in the rim joist under the door. I pointed this out to the crew foreman (Damen) after the old door was removed but he told us it is not really rotted, just that it has “seen water”, and that he would not do any repair but rather protect the area with a foil wrap and metal pan.
There is a hole (about 2” x 3” on the inside) rotted completely through the rim joist, and we have photos of that but do not see a way to post those.
We called Waunakee Remodeling office and complained and initially were told that what was done by the crew is what they would want done in their home. Further conversations led to them sending someone out to see the situation and propose a fix, which was to scab in a piece of blocking on the inside of the rim joist. We do not consider that a fix, just more covering up of the problem.
There were some minor flaws in the sliding panel of the new door, and Andersen warrantees against flaws so Waunakee ordered a new replacement. When it arrived and they tried to install it, it was found to be 3/4” too short. We are so disgusted with the performance of Waunakee Remodeling that we decided to just keep the flawed panel.
And, we’ll either need to hire a competent contractor to repair the dry rot or do it ourselves. We have done similar repair work on a previous home years ago but we hired this “5-star” contractor with the expectation that I would not have to do this again.Review fromGabrielle B

Not only did they do it three months earlier than was expecting it, they also accomplished the job just before the sky opened up with rain! They were efficient and detail oriented. 5 starsWe had 2 patio doors and 3 outside doors replaced on Oct. 5, 2022. Not only was the install done 3 months earlier than originally quoted, but was also completed in ONE day instead of a 2-3 days as was projected. They cleaned up very well after themselves and none of my wallpaper had to be replaced which saved me lots of time! Dylan B, Nate G, Logan M, Tyler D, and Ethan B provided the excellent install.
