    Horrible service terrible. Delivery was about 10 days, whe I got my items they was expired 11.18.2023.I got them yesterday, April 17,2024.The Worst service I ever had.

    Do not shop here.I ordered a couple times through their online option and when the orders arrived the expiration dates where always close from expiring. The last order I placed on January 18 of 2024 arrived just to find out that the whole order was past expiration date ranging from expired for month to a couple weeks. I wrote to let Parthenon Foods know about the problem, just to be ignored. Horrible customer service, after the third email the answer was only because the product is past expiration date does not mean it is bad. Then being ignored again and disputed the charges with my credit card company for a full refund what was paid in the end but was dragged out by Parthenon. I think they use the online option to dispose of old products and hope people will not notice or just give up on reimbursement. Would not buy anything here again.The issue was resolved by me dispuding the charges for a refund after ofer 2 month, bad business practice

    A) I didnt place the order; tried explaining to them and they acted like they didnt believe me. B) They said they would deny my refund and refuse to accept the bottle of mineral water if I tried to return it.C) I cant believe the nerve of these turkeys. I think its a crying shame these turkeys are able to carry on like this.

    One star is too much for them. I placed an they shipped some of items shipped to me after two weeks. After waiting few additional weeks for the rest of the items, I asked for a refund. I have received partial refund but not full refund. No more Parthenonfoods for me. Pathetic process, no ability to track your order and delayed and costly shipping . NTROPI SAS.

    I ordered ************* and after 2 weeks, they sent me a totally wrong order! I called them and there is no customer service and recording states to leave a message. I get an email with a return label but no one has called or advised via email how they plan to make this right or when refund will be due! Due to their mistake, I now have to take my time to return the wrong product. I am a big fan for supporting local and small businesses but not when they have no plans to make the customer their priority. Definitely not worth dealing with this merchant.

    They sent me gyro meat in a cardboard box with packing peanuts and a cold pack wrapped with the box of meat. When it was delivered out was warm. Of course the cold pack was warm. And the meat was spoiled. Don’t buy from them. They did nothing to make it right

    Pickled herring arrived warm. Jar states "Must be kept below 38F" Manufacturer said "do not eat if above 40F" FDA says "do not eat or even taste if above 40F" Parthenon said "Your order was packaged in a way so that by the time you receive it the item is not spoiled and still safe to use even if *not received cold.* It would not have enough time to spoil with the transit time and packaging." (I added the ** emphasis) Clearly this is not in accordance with FDA or manufacturers guidelines.

    i bought salted codfish on Amazon (a mistake in itself) but thought that a reputable company was represented. I buy meats, sushi, bacon from companies online and they are packed appropriately for the long haul of travel. Stryrofoam boxes, ice packs and nitro packs (hot ice). Products come in frozen and in good shape from San Diego to NC. This company sent the package in a plastic USPS bag, with a freezer bladder that busted and contaminated the fish!!! Here is their response: Thank you for contacting us and we apologize for any inconvenience. Your order was packaged in a way so that by the time you receive it the item is not spoiled and still safe to use even if not received cold. It would not have enough time to spoil with the transit time and packaging. Parthenon Foods 2:08 PM (9 hours ago) to me Hello, We are sorry, but this is a salt cured item and is safe to use. Sincerely, The Parthenon Foods Service Team to Parthenon I have eaten this product from other sources a million times, if you are not returning my money say so. I'll tell you what I'll send back to you and you eat it!!!! no wonder you got a 2.6 out of 5 review and BBB 1.6 out of 5. I demand a refund! You just can' steal honest peoples money when they are reporting their earnest complaints. And this company just ignores my claims and takes $25+ from my account! OUTRAGEOUS. I WANT MY MONEY BACK
