This pool maintenance company damaged my pool liner due to the chemicals they used or the way they applied the chemicals during our pool opening this year. This company has been used by us for pool openings and closings for several years. After being notified of the issue, the company initially indicated that they thought maybe the chemical manufacturers were to blame, but once I made it clear that I considered the company itself responsible, they stopped responding to all communications.Timeline:5/17/24: Agreed via ******** Messenger on job and timing 6/10/24: Company began job and reported they would return several times (while I was out of town) to complete work. Sent initial invoice of $300 for opening. Paid same day.6/16/24: Company reported that they were only able to circulate chemicals the prior day while they were there with an extension cord because of an outlet issue near the pool. (Company should have notified me of the problem the prior day - I would have arranged for them to have an extension cord present for the duration of the job.)6/18/24: Company completed job 6/20/24: Company invoiced for additional $486 for "green to clean" portion of job. Paid same day.6/30/24: I notified company that I realized the pool liner was completely bleached except for under the ladder. Sent pictures as evidence. Company responded and claimed the chemicals were likely to blame and stated they would contact the manufacturer.7/3/24: Company's last communication was made, stating they're still working with the manufacturer. I informed them I expected them to make things right regardless.7/18/24: *********************** were attempted, this date had the last one sent. Company refused to respond.7/23/24: I purchased new pool liner (454.60)8/13/24: I paid another company to replace the pool liner that was damaged by Green-less Pools ($1400 for installation and ~$400 in anticipated water and chemical costs.)Total loss: $2254.60

******************* from Green Less Pools came to fix our pool heater on 7/15/2022. I had previously contacted the heater manufacturer for troubleshooting and was told what the problem was and the part # for the part needed. I ordered the part on Amazon ($60.96) and needed **** to install it. He came to do the repair and encountered problems which resulted in us needing a second part that he went to get ($48.00?). After he completed the repair and got the heater going it emitted excessive amounts of steam which he said would dissipate shortly due to the rain from the previous evening, which made sense. We paid **** $140.00 which included the $48.00 part he got. Over the course of the next 2 weeks everytime the heater was on it still emitted excessive steam even without it raining. Finally it stopped working, displaying that the roll out switch was on. Again I called the manufacturer for trouble shooting and was told the part # needed and ordered it from Amazon ($10.02). I was also told by them to have the gas pressure checked to find the cause of the roll out switch going. That switch is a safety mechanism which should prevent fires. Again I contacted **** for the new repair on 7/29, which he said he would come to do. We had a bit of a delivery issue with Amazon not delivering the part next day as promised. But when it came we contacted him on 8/1 to come to do the work when his schedule allowed. On 8/2 he texted saying he was "hunting for a gas pressure meter" and I replied to keep us updated. On 8/3 I texted asking for an update and no reply. So I contacted another company and they came 8/8 to do the job. Seems that the work ******************* did was done incorrectly which caused the roll out switch to break. So I had to pay the new company for the same 2 parts and to install them along with the roll out switch I had to order because of incorrect installation. I think **** should reinburse us for $200.00 for the parts and his labor. Receipt for 2nd repair sent.

Hello and good afternoon, my name is *************************. I am the owner and sole proprietor of Green-Less Pools. Recently came in the mail a complaint was filed against me via a *********************. After contacting **************, claims were made that a pilot light and coupling were installed improperly on his Raypak 206a (2014 model) on the 9th of July. After three weeks received a call regarding a roll out switch error code (not related to pilot switch)on the 29th of July. After not being able to procure equipment in a timely manner for a gas pressure Legacy Pools was contacted and hired for said repair. Was in contact with ************** where I was informed I had apparently installed the pilot incorrectly via Legacy Pool direction. Contacted Legacy and the technician myself to discuss what the issue was and where was the installation improper, to which I was informed by the technician that nothing was installed improperly and confused by what I was being told. Prior to being able to get a hold of the technician I already agreed to reimburse ************** for my cost and labor to which I already sent out reimbursement check.
