    Contracted Turf & Tree Worx for lawn care & snow removal in 2024. The biggest issue was with consistently clearing/salting my sidewalks & steps. They would plow the driveway, then leave. The first time it happened, I wrote it off as a one-time mistake and didn't bring it up. The second time, I waited an hour after the plow left, brought it up, & was told that they put me "on the salting walk route but was somehow missed to be put on the plowing walk route", which I thought was odd because they had shoveled/salted the walk in the past without an issue, just hadn't done it every time. However, the plow had returned to do the shoveling/salting. The third time it happened (48 hours after the second), I waited over two hours after the plow had left, & then contacted them again. At that point I was told that there is a separate crew that does the walk/steps, which didn't make sense because the plows had usually done it in the past. It also didn't make sense that now there was a second crew when there was no mention of that 48 hours earlier. After that, I expressed my concerns & asked them in two separate e-mails to remove servicing the walks/steps from my services (I wanted driveway only going forward), and in both e-mails I specifically asked them to respond back confirming the change in services. I never received a confirmation. So, uncertain of what I was going to be getting and having to pay for going forward, I decided to cancel everything. When I sent the e-mail cancelling all services, I got a two word response in TWO MINUTES. Apparently "all cancelled" was all I was worth. No call from the manager/owner (at any point) to discuss my concerns, no offer to make it right (other than to send the plow back one time), no sense at all that I was a valued customer. I literally spent thousands with them over the course of 9 months for several services, and the moment I reported a consistent issue, I was treated like a second-rate customer that they were happy to be rid of.

    Mr. ********* contracted *** for residential snow removal and ice control for the 2024/2025 winter season. We provided the service until February 15th, with one mistake that was promptly fixed. Our fleet consists of 8 trucks and 2 loaders, with all trucks covering every route. Mid-season, a routing update inadvertently excluded VanBeckums account from the snow removal walk crews route, but we quickly resolved the issue after being notified by email. The main concern appears to be VanBeckums dissatisfaction with the use of a separate walk crew from the plowing crews, a standard practice in the industry. He promptly canceled sidewalk services, followed by all services a week later, then posted negative reviews on multiple platforms without ever reaching out to us directly. While most customers would contact our office to discuss concerns, he opted to post negative reviews on multiple platforms which is not an accurate depiction of how we operate our business.. Situations like this underscore why many snow removal contractors prioritize commercial clients over residential ones.With over 32 years in business and an A BBB rating, we take pride in our professionalism and responsiveness. We always encourage open communication, but unfortunately, that wasnt the approach taken here.

    This comment/response from Turf & Tree Worx shows that they clearly do not understand what the core issue was, which was a total lack of consistent **************************** The concept of using a separate crew by itself was not & is not an issue. What is an issue is that a separate crew was not consistent with what I had seen, and more importantly, a separate crew should have been mentioned after my FIRST e-mail on 02/13/2025, not suddenly mentioned when the same problem occurred two days later. Also, Turf & Tree Worx has chosen to make it appear as though I did not attempt to contact their office to discuss concerns, but that is wildly inaccurate. I sent two very detailed & descriptive e-mails on 02/15/2025, including one sent at 11:48 AM responding to the mention of a separate crew that more than adequately communicated my concerns, as well as repeated my request for confirmation of the change of services. I received no response to this e-mail. I gave them a full week to respond to my concerns, and they did nothing. After waiting a full week, I cancelled all services, and yes, then posted negative reviews highlighting the lack of communication. They say that they "encourage open communication", but if that was the case, I would have gotten some sort of response in a week. I don't know what more they think I should have done to communicate my issue.
