These were described as fair priced custom luxury cabinets. Specifically high quality wood, sold plywood cabinet boxes, highest quality paint, not cheap cabinets like ******* sells. This all according to the business.Paid $5525 on 7/26/24 to start building the cabinets that the design is complete on already.Cabinets were supposed to be done and installed before my daughter was born, due date ******* actually born ********Cabinets were not started at this point. Even though I was told they were almost done. December 2,3,17 text message with no response All phone calls not answered or returned Oct 29th, Dec 2,3 Emails not responded to Aug 15, Sept 5, 12, 19, 23, 25 Oct 3, 17, 23 ,28, 29, Nov 7, 11, Dec 13, and 16 They were finally delivered Dec 2nd and looked and functioned horribly. The paint had runs and there were large scratches and gouges all over, as well as barely 1 coat of paint. I have pictures of them, I showed home owners and my father who is a home builder.Every person that saw the cabinets were appalled that someone would send then to a *********** is at this point that I requested a refund and for then to just take the cabinets back as the wood and paint and function of then were horrible. I mentioned this multiple times. They did not want to go down that road and they said they can fix them all. I told them that I'm only ok with that if they can fix then to be perfect and do it in a timely manner. This is almost 2 months ago now.I have finally approved of them to install the cabinets even though they are still not perfect. Now the business owner ******* has decided he will not deliver them unless all the remaining balance is paid in full, before the work is done. This is not the standard and not the agreement. We disagree on this, **** asked for a compromise, I offered I pay $1500. $750 before delivery $750 after install. He agreed but now changed to $3000 $1500 now then $750 at delivery and $750 after install. Now lawyers are getting involved.
