1/3/2023 my car was gone so I called the police and come to find out that my car was repoed. I have called creative finance and emailed them to find out why they repoed my car because my car is 100 percent paid off according to my credit report. And I have not received any contact back from them. I want to know where the h*** my car is or my belongings. All the police said that they think it was picked up from a company out of my area. I have called creative finance and emailed them to find out why they repoed my car because my car is 100 percent paid off according to my credit report. And I have not received any contact back from them. I want to know where the h*** my car is or my belongings. All the police said that they think it was picked up from a company out of my area.I am trying to get this resolved and find out where they took my car.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this review. Creative Finance, Inc., specializes in helping individuals and families with poor credit that *** not be able to get a loan through a conventional bank or other dealership. Our finance specialists work hard with every guest to get them in a reliable used vehicle that will fit their budget.The vehicle at issue was purchased on November 14, 2019 and financed through Creative Finance, Inc., (Creative). The loan payments began becoming late in the fall of 2021. A Right to Cure was sent the Borrower and Co-Borrower on November 8, 2021 and again February 22,2022. To date, no loan payments have been made on the account since March 8, 2022. The Right to Cure expired and Creative possessed the vehicle via self-help on January 4, 2023. You state that the account is 100 percent paid off. If you recall, you filed for Chapter 7 protection under the Bankruptcy Code on September 2, 2021 (Case 1-21-11850-cjf Western District of *********) which was discharged on February 14, 2022. You *** not be liable on the account due to the bankruptcy filing, however, that protection does not protect the other Borrower on this account.
Upon review, we found that both ********* law and best business practices were followed and that proper steps were taken in this matter. In any event, we encourage the guest to reach out to Creative Finance, Inc., ************, and we can answer your questions with regard to the location of the vehicle and collection of any personal belongings that *** remain in the vehicle.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this review. Creative Finance, Inc., specializes in helping individuals and families with poor credit that *** not be able to get a loan through a bank or other dealership. Our finance specialists work hard with every guest to get them in a reliable used vehicle that will fit their budget. The contracts used, which discloses the interest rate, finance charge, amount financed and total payments are reviewed with the guest at the time of purchase.The vehicle was sold in April 2020. No payments were received by Creative Finance,Inc., from the time the vehicle was sold and when the company did recover the vehicle via self help in July 2020. The vehicle was sold in September 2020 for $9,995.00 and that amount was applied to your account which resulted in a deficiency remaining. A Notice of Sale and Deficiency Owed was mailed to you in October 2020 detailing the sale and remaining balance due. You did contact us in July 2022 regarding the balance due and have not had contact with you since and no payments have been made on the account.
Upon review, we found that both ********* law and best business practices were followed and that the credit reporting is accurate. In any event, we encourage the guest to reach out to Creative Finance, Inc., ************, and speak to someone in the legal department to discuss payment arrangements on the account.

After ****pm at night, I heard banging all over the place. My vehicle wad gone. Absolutely no letter or phone calls stating that my car would be repossessed. I have called and left messages trying to get payments set up, left messages that I was starring bankruptcy. Etc. Even stated I had new debit info to give to start auto payments. No reply whatsoever and my online account has been locked so I was unable to make payments. I have been battling with cancer. And they knew this buy never replied. With no notice,there were many important things in that car I needed, such as emergency care i need in the back seat and my work keys. No clue who took it or where. And I have to be to work in 10 hours.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.For privacy reasons, ******************* will refrain from using the complainants name and will refer to the complainant throughout this response as "guest."The guest's car was recovered by a third party via Self Help on 8/16/2022. The guest sent an email 8/17/2022 stating he did not receive notification of repossession and demanded that the guests personal items be returned to your home by 9:00 a.m. and accused *******************, of theft. An additional email was sent by the guest today with the message where in the h*** is my stuff. We emailed you back within five (5) minutes of the last message and indicated that you were to contact our legal department at ************ to connect with our legal team to retrieve your personal items located in the vehicle at the time of repossession. It is now 5:07 p.m. on 8/17/2022 and we have not had contact with the guest regarding acquiring the personal items.
An insurance right to cure letter was sent to the guest on 5/9/2022 and a right to cure for amounts due was sent to the guest on 5/24/2022. Both letters are attached for reference and were sent to the address listed on the guests complaint, which is also the current address *******************, has listed on the guests account.
Upon review, we found that both Federal and ********* law and best business practices was followed. We look forward to helping resolve this guests concerns and encourage him to call ** at **************.
