      B&E removed our old asphalt and rinstalled new asphalt at a cost of $5600 on September 12, 2023. The quality of asphalt paving work was poor with dips and creases left that collect water. In the quote he promised to straighten north edge of driveway but actually his employees made it worse by making the edge more crooked. Asphalt was of poor quality when finished which was rough and pitted especually near garage. Owner of business promised to make repairs several times, but then did not show up when he promised.. Now owner will not return calls to discuss resolution.

      Paid B&E Professional Seal Coating(part of B&E Asphalt) $10,000.0 on 8/3/21 for cleaning, grading, base for driveway, lay hot mix, roll to smooth finish and provide seal coating in 2022. After repeated attempts to get a date for completing the seal coating we agreed to postpone until 2023 at the company's request. We also informed them of a problem with improper sloping of the driveway which is causing water to pond at the garage doors and due to freezing has made it hard to open garage doors. Beginning on 6/19/23 we have made repeated efforts to get the work scheduled-on a couple of calls that were returned we were given an approximate time frame for doing the work along with a promise to contact us with a date. The last phone contact was on 8/8 with a person(EJ) at B&E Asphalt. I reviewed the situation with him and he told me he would look into it and get back to me within a few days. As of 9/5 we have had no response to our 8/8 call. It has been extremely frustrating working with this company. It takes multiple calls to get someone to respond and they fail to follow-up when they commit to getting back to us.

      On 8-9-2022 I contracted with B&E Asphalt, **************** ** to redo my driveway with hot mix asphalt. The purpose of doing this was to re-slope the driveway so that water did not puddle and enter my garage. I paid by check in the amount of $5,100 which was taken directly to my bank and cashed that day. The first significant rain my garage floor was full of water. On 9-28-22 I sent a text to the owner, ***********************, along with pictures of where the water was seeping into the garage. *** said he would come and fix the problem. I contacted him a number of times with no results. I contacted B&E Asphalt again on 2-28-23 stating my garage was full of water due to melting snow. Said he has been trying to call me, but no record of any missed calls or voice mails. I contacted them again on 3/3/23 and they responded they can't fix it until the Asphalt Plan fires p for the season which would be around the end of April or first of May. I followed up again on 5-10-23 with no response. I followed up again on 7-10-23 with a text response that they would come on Thursday, 7-13-23. They did not show up, but called and said he had a problem but would show up, and that I should call him if they don't. Didn't show again, so I tried calling, no answer and voicemail was full. I finally sent a text on 7-21-23 that if they don't show this week I would initiate a suit in small claims court.

      In October of 2021 I had B&E Asphalt install a new driveway at my singe family home. I was given a 1 year warranty on their work. I was not satisfied with the work 2 days after the install when I was able to drive on it and realized that it was way to narrow, did not flare at the street and did not provide substantial base before laying the blacktop. I paid $6000.00 on the day that is was done and have contacted the company numberious times asking for them to come back and assess the substandard work. I was told by ************** that he would remedy the work several times, but he never showed his face again. In fact I have sent three certified letters to his bogus addresses, all different and all returned. Fact is this guy is a kite and does not stand by his work. When I went to my bank to find out where he cashed my check, I learned he went to my bank that very day and cashed it, so no paper trail on that. I intend to pursue this with legal action in the court system, in the mean time Im out $6000.00 and will most likely need to have it totally ripped up and replaced in the spring of 2023.

      On Sept 21, 2022, ***** came to "patch driveway with hot mix asphalt, clean hot tar cracks, and sealcoat the driveway". They required payment $3600 (check or cash only) upon services. But they left behind a pile of large chunks of asphalt they had removed and left on our grass at the end of the driveway and said they would collect them by the end of the week while also promising to come back to fill in a gap they hadn't realized was in the driveway before the hot asphalt truck had left. We called 3 weeks in a row afterward to ask them to please fulfill their word, and each time they said "by the end of the week". It has now been over a month and they still haven't come.

      We finished to *** the customer had further patching he wanted done we told he we would do it for free and I told him I would when I had the time now the customer is acting like that was part or the original agreement.  It's $20 worth of patching
