    On April 9, 2025, at 0909, I placed an order for a car part with MAPerformance. Around 0930, I realized I ordered the wrong part by mistake. I immediately sent an email to MAPerformance asking for cancellation of this order. I did not receive a response and followed up with a phone call at 1140. The representative told me "he would look into if the manufacturer has fulfilled the order and send me an email regarding it's status". I received no phone call, only a notification showing the order I wanted to cancel as "shipped". On 10 April, 2025 at 0840, ****** *******, sent me an email stating:"Hello,Thank you for reaching out, unfortunately we were not able to stop this from shipping as the order had been processed by our supplier. As such this order did ship but once received I would be happy to assist you with a return.Please let me know once you get this shipment and provide a picture of the box without opening it if you do wish to return both items.Please let me know if you have any questions and if you need any assistance with a future order please feel free to reach out to my sales team as they can help you find anything and let you in on any deals we can offer.Thank you for your patience and shopping with MAPerformance, I hope you have a great day! -******" After receiving the order on 15 April, 2025, I contacted MAPerfomance via phone. I was informed the returns department is only reachable through email, meaning, if you have an order you placed by mistake or ordered the wrong item, it is guaranteed to be process end subjected to a 20% restocking fee they charge. I do not like making accusations, however the methods applied by MAPerformance appear to be shady at the least. ****** *******, who is only reachable by email, also states it is a 1-2 business day response time.This means, if you need to cancel an order, you will not have time to cancel it before being charged and the order being shipped.

For context, both of your orders did in fact ship quickly - regardless, we can understand your position in that given how quickly you requested to cancel the 2nd order that was incidentally placed, you felt there shouldn't be any related fees applied. We are happy to still return whats needed to be returned, and refund you in full, so please reach back out to our customer service team and we should be able to help from there.
