    We hired *** owner of duct assassins to install a mini split in our home like he did in our business. We’ve had no issues with the one in our business. The unit installed in our home which we paid over $6000 for just last April 2022 has been nothing but trouble. We are remodeling our home right now so unfortunately our filing cabinet with the receipt is packed away. So I don’t have an exact amount or date at this time. The unit worked fine for a month or 2 & we had to call him back out to add more Freon. He had been out multiple times the summer of 2022 & a few times this year He told us the unit had a 1yesr warranty for him to come fix it at no cost but the unit it self had I believe a 5 or 7 year warranty. He came out multiple times last summer to keep adding Freon but never once attempted to find out where the leak was. Again this summer he had to come do the same. He did add dye one time this summer in which he was to come back in the dark to use a special light to see if he could find the leak. He never came back to do anything. We are having central heat/ac installed with our remodel & the owner of that company said he *** wasn’t checking the unit right for leaks & that he believe the mini split unit is totally broke.
